There is a growing case of sliding standards in the Social Justice regions of fandom. There are now people who literally believe that anybody under 25 -- when the brain is supposedly done developing -- is "underage". I've seen it over in Fire Emblem fandom (e.g. people calling Sylvain underage in Three Houses when he is canonically 20 before the timeskip).

To say that things are getting out of control is a bit of an understatement.

I hope the Japanese stand strong and dont change the anime they want to make to better fit for "western audiences"

I don't know many short JRPGs, Shortest "good" JRPG is probably Chrono Trigger and it's one of the best games of all time (but who hasn't heard of it") Game's only 20-30 hours

Finally finished Trails of Cold Steel 3, clocking in at 99 hours.

This is why I have a hard time getting into jrgs, I usually only play 40-60 hours of a game max and thats i really like it.

I tried watching One Piece starting with the Skypiea Arc and was loving it at first but the pacing really started to drive me nuts, so I started alternating between the manga and the anime but when I noticed even canon arcs had filler (long ring island had double the amount of matches), thats when I mostly dropped the anime.

Starting to ponder picking up more of the One Piece manga. There is a big box that has volumes 25 through 48, though I still need to pick up the four Baroque Works omnibuses. Omnibi. Whichever.

If you dont mind digital, there is colored versions of One Piece all over the internet.

Its great, I have read a couple hundred chapters of it recently.

Okay so I tried going on an Isekai Binge by adding a bunch to my Crunchy Queue.

And I would have to say, for a more causal anime, Restaurant to an Other World was great.
Im looking at the release date being 2017 and feeling kind of sad there isnt a season two.

Also watching Knight's and Magic, an isekai about a genius programmer who is reincarnated as a young boy in a universe where its basically the middle ages but they have primal mech technology and he comes in and is determined to make the best mech ever. CG is bad but the story pulls me in enough to forgive it.

I havent seen #2/3 but Fury Road gets my vote, its easily one of my favorite movies of all time.

Watching the first Mad Max after that was a big let down. Not because its wasnt high-octane action but the 1st movie was just kind of depressing.

I love actual books but I find so little time to read, thats why I love audiobooks, it lets you do chores, ride in the car, work and still enjoy a story at the same time while your hands and eyes are free.
