Winter Soldier into the AoS fallout might be my favourite point in the MCU timeline.

I fell off of this show early into season 3, but this topic has made me want to get back into it. It had nothing to do with it being bad, and everything to do with me being burnt out from watching every single superhero show at the same time.

Now I watch none of them! (except the Netflix stuff which has been fantastic)

Played in two online tournaments. Lost in the third round in one, then made it to the semi-finals and had the most intense online game I can remember before barely losing in the tiebreaker.

My opponent started hitting me with drop shots in the tiebreaker after not using them at all beforehand and I was not ready for it.

Story mode and CPU tournaments complete. This is the game that made me get to the point of "okay, I can no longer not have a Switch", meaning it's my first ever Switch game!

People always talk about the Sony and Xbox fanboys going at each other, but there is no fanbase quite like Nintendo's that gets angry when people don't treat something like it's the greatest thing ever when it's shown.

This isn't the only topic on B8, or on Gamefaqs in general, where the Sony fans were like "yeah that press conference was weird", whereas Nintendo fans are like "how dare you criticize that direct. What do you mean Smash isn't god's gift to man?"

It's crazy how much pre-ordering a single expansion helps with a collection.

Obviously dusting rotating cards out for 10k dust helped a bunch, but thanks to the 130+ packs I opened of Witchwood, I had enough dust to craft essentially any deck I wanted, and didn't feel the need to further spend gold on packs.

I have 12k dust right now, after already spending 10k on cards (I had zero before dusting the rotating cards), and already have 3000 gold saved for the next expansion.

I would appreciate how accurate you feel my turn analysis is, david. I know you also play at a fairly high level and want to make sure I'm not being unfairly biased just because it's him.

Overall I agree with what you're saying. It was definitely a winnable game. Some of the small mistakes may not have had an immense impact on the game, but that turn 8 was especially egregious and ultimately what I believe lost him the game in the long run.

I'm all about keeping the coin for the Jaina turn, when possible. Obviously against Aggro you're going to want to coin out a Dragon's Fury or Blizzard to stay alive, but against Warlock, I don't think getting out an Applebaum on turn 4 at 26 health is life or death.

Nothing can be worse than the mediocrity that is Pizza Pizza here in Ontario.

Papa Johns opened up here a few years ago and I'd take that 10 times out of 10 over Pizza Pizza.

Pizzaville and Domino's are pretty good, though.

I've never seen this many decks with a positive winrate before. It's also the first time I've seen a meta that doesn't involve playing against the tier 1 decks 80% of the time.

I know a lot of you dislike the current meta, but you can't deny that the diversity is some of the best it's been in a long time, if ever. I started playing in 2015 so I can't speak to the early days, but I can't remember a meta this diverse.

That's weird because I think that Messi and Nadal are more comparable in the sense that they aren't as good as Ronaldo and Federer.

I wouldn't say I'm rooting for Argentina, but I do think Messi is the greatest player to ever play football - clearly superior to Ronaldo - and I'd like that to be virtually unanimous, which it would be if he won the WC.

I mean for me personally it doesn't make a difference, but I'd like him to jump through this last hoop.

But I can certainly live with them being crap apart from that.

You sound like one of my good friends who insists Peyton is better than Brady and I can't fathom it.
