Some people say the Euro is a harder tournament to win, and I never really agreed, but when the top 16 ends up being 13 European teams, Brazil, Mexico, and an Asian/African team in a poor group, I start to see it. Especially when the lower end of teams are much worse than any of the European sides in the Euro.

Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright

I romanced the hell out of this game. Awakening was my first Fire Emblem game, and it blew me away. In a lot of ways, this was more Fire Emblem, which was good, but it didn't capture the same magic that the first game did, so I was left a little disappointed by it. It probably didn't help the I could not possibly care less about the story. By the end, I found myself skipping through some of the dialogue just to get back into the combat.

I just remembered my girlfriend has a 3DS collecting dust, so that solves my Xenoblade issue. Now if only I could get my Pokebank on her 3DS, I'd have no use for my own.

Long story short, I'm getting a Switch and don't really have any use for my 3DS. I'd like to trade it in, but the only thing of value is my Pokebank data with a living Pokedex that I'd like to preserve in the hopes that I'll eventually get to transfer it over to a Switch Pokemon game.

My girlfriend has a 3DS that is essentially collecting dust. If I downloaded Pokebank on it, would I be able to do something there? My initial thinking is that it's not possible because of the way Nintendo accounts work. I'm not sure she'd be okay with me transferring over my account either.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I've been on the fence about a Switch and it's actually Mario Tennis that is getting me to pull the trigger this Friday on it. (It's also my birthday and a culmination of gifts is going to cover about 2/3 of the cost)

I want to trade in my 3DS but I still haven't played the first Xenoblade game and want to before getting the second. I also have a living Pokedex sitting on PokeBank and as far as I know, there's no way to transfer that to Switch while I wait for the next mainline game.

My issue with that is you can say it about any press conference. You have to look at it in the broader picture. Like, I'm probably not going to pick up Super Mario Party but I recognise that it's a big release for Nintendo. And this is what I wish the GB guys would do more with games they're not personally interested in at E3. I do agree that the lack of No More Heroes was odd, though.

Also no love for Octopath? Or Daemon X Machina?

This sounds like your looking for an objective representation of video games, and it's pretty clear that Giant Bomb isn't that.

Why do they need to recognize every single thing if they aren't interested in it? There are a million different places you can go if you're looking for that.
