I realize it's the "boring" option. It's just stupid to state that you don't care about the presentation at all because it's an ARMS character, but at the same time be able to be disappointed about the choice. That means you do care at least a little.

Poison is great against only Hell House and the second train graveyard boss IIRC, but it's very nice when it can be used.

I think Bahamut ends up being the hardest one, though if you just prepare for only him, you'll do alright, the rest of that gauntlet isn't as bad.

I've been wondering if people are just overreacting because they heard the spoiler and it pisses them off, so now they won't like the game no matter what it does

It's funny, I feel like this goes both ways somehow. How many people are playing the game without subconsciously going in to find all the flaws or finding reasons to defend the game? It's a shame, really.

People data mining discovered that Gamefreak deleted the Pokdex entries of the Pokmon that are coming back in Crown Tundra, causing gaps, while they just left/didnt touch the ones of Pokmon that arent coming back (Like Pidgey, etc.)

Every fossil is coming back except Gen 4s

The most frustrating thing about all this somehow manages to not be the game itself, but the people "defending" the game by claiming we just don't like how the game has LGBTQ+ characters in prominent roles. To be so offending and ignorant at the same time... man.

The complains were also the other way around I remember, people only coming to discord and not board 8 doing very well. Not that I think it mattered much.

Almost everyone participating cared a lot about it, no point in anyone denying that. I think it's closed for the better, but I have some pretty fun memories.

Also I just remembered how much Naruto I watched predicting this.

The first poll happened right after the trailer that showed Daisy as playable and seconds later Waluigi as an assist trophy and he got to be the example of them showing you can now KO assist trophies. I think that fueled it a lot lol. Also being the one joke in a poll with that many obviously helps.

I'm so happy to see someone share this thought with me on contests lol.

That said, Goku in Smash might be where I hypocritically get hyped, because there's just no way I could not get hyped from seeing Goku jumping in to fight all these characters and if that trailer actually dropped my nostalgia googles would be glued to my face.

Sephiroth and Squall are also examples of my hypocrisy to be sure, because I agree with what you said but I'd go crazy at the same time.

I don't find Kratos and Chief very likely, but I'd love them both. They made Snake fit in pretty well by just not having him use most of the weapons, I'm sure Kratos would fit in fine too.

I'd love for Crono to be in, that was my vote too. I'd also love Dante and I think the chances are somewhat good there.

I'd be fine with Geralt or 2B, but I have yet no play those games, so I don't care much yet.

Waluigi would also be fine, but if Mario needs another character, it's god damn Toad, and I've thought this since they showed Wario in the first Brawl trailer.

I'm mixed about Sora. He's probably the character I'm least interested in seeing there.

I put a little bit up on the wiki as procrastination, noticed that the matches don't have the sweet list of all matches at the bottom for this contest yet, so I put that on every match page up until the most recent one that has my analysis on it. I'll just add them to the rest of the contest matches as I put my own things there.

But yeah, again, big deadline tomorrow and then I'll probably spend the weekend seeing the people closest to me, so I'll finish putting everything from this topic on there Monday, which also means all match pages will have the table of matches at the bottom by Monday.

Edit: Oh yeah, some of the pages has Safer's part as a subsection instead of a section. This is not consistant, it's just every now and then, so I don't really get what happened, but I fixed that as I went to and will continue to on Monday.

Honestly, it might just be the most recognizable character that cannot have a bad match picture, like all the Pokemon.

Then there are charcaters like Big Boss or Kefka that can get a very strong picture advantage if chosen from the right game.

Or characteres like Snake and Ganondorf that looks awful in the sprite round.

That's probably my biggest frustration in this whole thing, at least before I get to try the game. That it was advertised as a game around Joel and Ellie. There will be people buying this because they've been told that the game is about Joel and Ellie and they're not getting that.
