You had to test out of it or Pass it to take "Algebra" (Algebra II, I think it was called). I don't know. Maybe among math & science majors that is true, but I don't think others would agree. Mix in the fact that he had a very heavy accent and was young and nervous too and you have a recipe for learning disaster. IIRC it was a summer class too. I was in the shower getting ready to go out for a late dinner & drinks & almost ran out naked. It's worth springing the $50-$75 for a daypass to the lounge if you can afford it.
