My adventures through the new banner got me +Atk B!Ephraim (dupe), +Def/-Res Midori, Flying Nino (dupe), and free Lilith, along with two Shanna's. I'm satisfied with the haul overall and happy with the pitybreakers, but not too happy about Midori's IV's because I wanted to make her a mixed tank. Maybe I can still find a way to salvage it. The Shanna's were nice bonuses, and they came right after each other. For the first time in this game, I have a surplus of easy Desperation fodder

Still at 3.5% on the banner, but I'll probably end up letting it go at this point as while it would be great to get another Midori, I don't know how many orbs that'll take

Blue isn't as bad as red, but still enough fluff in there that it wasn't risk trying to get an extra Micaiah or a Tsubasa for me. Green couldn't go wrong for me even if I already have all of them

So the remaining launch units that don't have a PRF are the dragons minus Tiki, Setsuna, Pothead, dancers, and the armors. We probably shouldn't expect dancers to get PRF's, and I can see them taking their time with the armors and even when they get a refine, it'll probably be underwhelming because they want people to pay for powercreep

That's some powercreep on Midori, and she and Lilith both have good VA. Lilith looks fun to use, and this is the first time they've introduced new melee/ranged skills in the same banner. I guess I'm not going back into Mythic banner

I don't hate Fates/Awakening. As far as Fates is concerned, I wouldn't mind Orochi and Nyx making it in, but they're not popular enough for some reason. I just think with how popular Blazing Sword and PoR/RD are, they haven't gotten all that many banners and am always anxiously waiting for their next one

TRE, are you jumping back into the game with the new update? I could never spend so much energy and effort on a game that I no longer play lol

Getting the last Delthea I need is nice, but I could have saved some Grails with Aversa. I wonder if they will do revivals for the others that missed out on the rotation at another point

I've had generally good luck with legendary banners. Got +Spd/-Def Brammimond and +Spd Fjorm and +Res Thrasir without having to shell out a ton of orbs. I didn't realize Drive Atk 2 was already offered by Groom Marth before Echidna came around, but my free Fjorm will appreciate a Spd boon upgrade. Going to hold onto the dupe Thrasir as potential fodder. Will see what banners came out before this one expires, I may go back in. Eliwood should have been on the banner. He's the only CYL3 unit not in. Poor guy always getting left out

Yea, he comes with Aureola, Forblaze, and I don't remember if he comes with a staff, and with Forblaze's spotlight already stolen, he'd either come with Aureola or a colorless tome. Luna tome would be sick.

Aureola had sick animation. Man, the GBA games had this unique style of animation that was never replicated again and I really miss it. The way Sages cast their magic circle before they attack and spin around afterwards is a really nice touch. To this day, I'm still puzzled by how there hasn't been a BB/BB remake since Roy's game has never made it stateside and Lyn, Hector, and Eliwood are so popular

I don't see what kind of refine Eirika can get that would trump bladetome, and honestly, Ike and Ryoma are in need of a refine more, and as far as ranged horses go, L'Arachel needs a refine badly, at least to get rid of her silly tome boost. It is good to see them slowly releasing Grail refines, but I wish it wouldn't come at the expense of a regular refine. No one cares about a 3-man banner for these things

Speaking of Spd Tactic, why do we still not have it... Odd Atk Wave fodder and Death Blow (finally!) are great though, and this is why TT+ is one of my favorite events because it also means free Dragonweed. Now I don't have to spend a ton of grails on Delthea if I want Atk Wave fodder since she's at +9. I'm hoping she'll come back for the revival series like last year

I conveniently got pity-broken by Idunn when going for Igrene, and she's +Res/-Spd, which is probably the best she could have asked for. 49/44 Def is great, but the tradeoff is being unable to counter at range

I can pretty consistently get in the second tier with L!Alm, L!Leif, L!Celica, and L!Azura. Only five merges total among them. It's easy to get the bonus points for color advantage kills when everyone can swap. I've gotten in the top tier before, but I think it required swapping one of them out for a +10 unit.

Is it like Mjolnir's Strike where your score range is determined by the higher score of the pair and not who is the lead?

Thanks to +10 W!Jaffar, Duel Nino, and probably L!Leif, I finally managed to get the best rewards in AB(Not highest ranking but that's not the important part)

I still can't get anywhere near that range. I have Nino, Eirika, Nowi, and Raven all fully merged and can't consistently get at least 900

Thought we were getting Edelgard, but Chrom was overdone. I don't expect him to have good Spd, so his schtick seems to be try to OHKO since his weapon doesn't deny enemy follow-ups. Need to see his stats to see if I want to pull blue

How naive for me to think Pent would be on the next BB banner. Kind of a non-impressive banner, with no mages, Rath and Fiora being the obvious duds (Fury 3, really?), AND you risk getting Fiora if you're going for Nils. Leila is also an odd choice, as I didn't think she was that popular.

Things don't bode well for Heath. All the fliers after Naesala have been disappointing

Duo Alm, Faye, and Rudolf are all really good, it's not an easy decision picking between them, but Alm's Duo skill affects ALL allies, so that's significant and probably would be who I would go for. There are so many banners coming out that you have to balance what you spend on :/

In spite of the non-anniversary, but summoning luck has been good. Got a decent Byleth(M) from TT+ banner and -Atk Camilla and +Atk Micaiah by only summoning on the first circle each time. Nothing today. Veronica makes better use of Atk/Spd 4 than Camilla does, and -Atk makes it an even easier decision. I now have Byleth, Barst, and Laslow that I want to get up and running, and undecided on Jakob

I was like "That sounds way too good to be true." The overall quality of refines this time is actually better than usual. Jakob's refine is not bad, but Laslow's seems like too much work to utilize. Think Jakob and Barst are potential builds for me right now

Resplendent Lyn looks very nice, and here I thought it she was going to be a completely new unit and wish that were the case. Even with +2 to all stats, she's still underwhelming for today's standards. I would consider the pass if it were $5, but $9.49 is too steep. I do prefer old owl over Feh. Wish he were a mainstay because Feh's voice is atrocious

On another note, I actually got Pent!! Too bad he's relegated to fodder status with those stats. Didn't they give out orbs and feathers as part of the anniversary gift in previous years? It definitely feels like they're being stingy this year

Elincia nowhere near as lucky as Micaiah was ;( Nino fell off hard. Why are they so slow in announcing the results? #cantkeepup

I spent about ~160 orbs with the following haul:

+Def/-Hp Lif
+Res/-Atk Byleth
+Def/-Spd Ephraim
+Res/-Def Hilda

As if I needed even more of a reason to feed Byleth to Nino. Her attack animations suggest she should have built-in DC, and there's something about her eyes that bug me. I'm glad we don't have to rely on Greil for Fury 4 fodder anymore, and he shares his color with Mist on the revival banner, and while it would be cool to eliminate her -Atk bane, it's not worth the risk. I'm slowly fully kitting out my book I core team

Got Byleth, Ephraim, and Hilda in the last summoning circle, which turned out way better than I was hoping for. I'm loving all the infantry weed I'm getting as there's never enough of it. Ephraim will function just like L!Eirika, but she does have a better EP

OK, thanks for clearing that up. It seems to be different from Mjolnir's Strike where whichever paired up unit has the higher point total is counted, so I don't see how I can make use of it since it takes too much to +10 legendary units

I'm pretty tempted to pull for Kiria, but will have to see what's in store after this banner. She is potentially even better than a fully merged Lilina
