I realized on the second AoE hit, her special will be charged to 1, and then fully charged the following turn, so not as awkward as I initially thought. She still lacks true damage and SS4 is probably ideal

R!Sonya's kit is so awkward. She doesn't auto-charge AoE on T1, and without Special Spiral, she can only activate it every other combat, except Caliburnus doesn't offer DR for no good reason, so she has to pick her fights carefully, and her A-skill is suited for AoE. If you give her Iceberg, it's instantly charged on T1, but not thereafter. If you give her RS, the -2 charge on T1 is wasted...

I like her art, but Caliburnus is the worst Arcane tome and my +8 Forma Sonya is way more self-sufficient. I feel like R!Sonya needs a lot of skill changes to be optimal

They're absolutely terrible at skill distribution, and I will never not be irked they never gave us Def Smoke and Res Smoke seals, even though it's way past the time of their relevance

It only occurred to me yesterday that Brunnya is a pretty good candidate for Arcane Euphoria. Just overhauled her entire kit, but kept Special Spiral 3. She is a much better party support now and more dangerous with true damage and charged Iceberg when she could only roll with charged Glimmer previously. I refined her PRF since she's part of my Wind core and I felt obligated, and then the better tome came out shortly after >___>

Brunnya will make do for now, but I'm open to replacing her in the future. I also thought maybe I could dust off F!Delthea, but she scores even less than Brunnya, so I'll be patient and wait for a higher scoring unit to come around to make use of my second R!Plumeria. Need to update my arena cores >___<

P.S. It's so stupid that you have to pay 20k feathers or grails to get Def Ploy 3/Res Ploy 3 in 2023

PoL has become an absolute clusterfuck with the insanely OP units being released these days. Good luck if you encounter B!Robin, N!Camilla, B!Catria, Gullveig, etc. I faced DOUBLE B!Robin twice and N!Camilla twice and got my lowest score in the mode ever, and this was on Intermdiate ffs

W!Claude makes S!Claude look like crap lol. Kinda sucks for people who went all in on the latter

Finally went in on Wind banner and got +Spd/-Res Claude and +Def/-Res Kagero without heavy orb investment. I continued to pull colorless when there was no green on the way to Claude to try to get another Kagero as fodder. I do like Catria's art, but she needs a lot of help to go up against the godswords and I decided to skip her

After that, went back into Genealogy banner and got another Plumeria, dupe B!Soren and Mamori, then sparked Ced. B!Soren was a pleasant surprise, but I don't plan on merging until I get another copy

Another busy training day... once the game is back up!

We may get Save on Kellam if they plan on powercreeping Save skills soon, but I'm expecting that glorious Wary Fighter

It's a -Atk kind of day. 24 summons got me dupe Honkers, +Def/-Atk Chrom, and +HP/-Atk Elincia. Would be nice to get an Elincia merge, but 16 summons is quite a lot to go

So A!Ced can't actually charge his own special immediately? That and the fact they gave him an Ideal skill in 2023 is stupid, not to mention he doesn't even have the HP to pull off the IP schtick well

I generally try not to pair two units of the same color. I started to ally support Soren and Freyr, but I think B!Robin + B!Soren would make an even more busted pair

Damage calc updated with L!Alear and she can take some of the newest godswords, so I went in on her and got dupe Ninian along the process without a heavy amount of orb investment. Then finally went into Tea banner and got +Atk/-Spd Ayra, +HP/-Spd Sigurd, Myrrh, Ewan, and Azelle. Sparked on Lysithea. Ferdinand has nice art, but being green kinda hurts him. I have 3x Ewan, but he needs heavy investment to be good. I also had no idea Azelle even got demoted

Trying to get 3/4 focus units on a seasonal banner can go very wrong, but I was very happy my summoning adventures today went quite favorably. In other news, busy training day using the Ranged map. I was always annoyed they didn't add another rotational map that makes it painless to train ranged units. The Magic map is not the answer because unless you run someone with Stall, it's a very bad map to train squishy mages

I'm hesitant to trait fruit immediately as I will be getting Soren dupes one way or another. Also want to save fruits for formas

Man, I'm still not really sold on B!Corrin as I feel she will be powercrept not too long after, so I am kinda leaning towards sparking for another Soren as a reserve that I can merge to get rid of bane or fodder
