Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, like several of Tarantino's films, falls loosely into the genre that I would call "alternate history." in this case, the alternate history is that, instead of running into Sharon Tate and killing her, the Manson Family members ran into a guy who could punch out Bruce Lee.

the clip that you saw is near the end of the film. the woman in the clip is a fictionalized version of the Manson Family member who admitted to personally killing Sharon Tate. at this point, she has already encountered Cliff, the guy who can punch out Bruce Lee. she screams in pain, and Rick (the guy who was in the pool; Cliff is his friend and stunt double) torches her with the flamethrower. early on in the movie, a clip from an earlier movie that Rick starred in -- I believe it was called The 14 Fists of McClusky -- in which Rick's character uses that flamethrower, was shown. after the clip, Rick says that he still has the flamethrower, so this was also a big Chekhov's Gun payoff

vague, performative "socially liberal" positions don't prevent someone's politics from being conservative. any ideology that takes social ideas and economic ideas as separate from one another (rather than recognizing that social ideas come from economic ideas) is, at best, extremely naive.

libertarians can say they "support gay marriage" all they want, but right-wing policies are harmful to poor people, and queer people are statistically more likely to be poor than the general population. in other words, the policies that actually materially benefit queer people the most are the social safety nets that libertarians want to cut.

There is a lot of the Farms that I don't understand, tbh. I usually go 2x3 with them, and then bump them up to 2x4. Sometimes one of them might be a x23 because I don't know which provides the most cash.

so, the answer to this question is... quite nuanced.

024 gives more money per round than 204. 203 and 023 give the same amount, unless you have the monkey knowledge that increases banana farm yield (I don't remember what it's called); in which case 023 gives more.

but that's assuming you're buying the full farm in one big purchase. in the early-game, you probably can't do that. buying 200 and then building into 203 can be more efficient if you're buying each upgrade one at a time.

the most efficient farm (that is; the farm which has the biggest yield-per-round per dollar spent) is 230 (whether or not you have Benjamin active; with Ben it increases the margin).

generally, the best farming strategy for early game is this:
200 farm -> 220
buy another farm. upgrade to 202 (the bottom path's increased sellback value is important). sell it when selling would give you enough money to upgrade the other farm to 230.

boat farming is also really good -- particularly because the boats make you money while also acting as your defense, which you don't get from regular banana farms. for this, you focus primarily on bottom path farms because each XX4 (up to ten of them) gives a boost to bottom path boat's cash generation. a bunch of 003 boats, a 005 (upgrade any of them to 013 or 023 as needed), and ten 024 farms can generate some serious cash.

420 generates the most cash out of any of the 4th-tier farms; 520 generates the most cash out of the 5th-tier farms. getting a bunch of 420s is also your best bet if you're going for a big monkeyopolis (because it costs the most).

040 (and eventually 050) engineer are really strong for farming as well because overclock speeds up their cash generation. this is especially effective on 420 and 520.

But the xx5 thing looks like it does nothing.

it generates extra money each round in addition to the regular XX4 stuff. it also acts as a mini version of the Banana Farmer power. so if you place a XX5 farm in the middle of a bunch of precisely-placed 420 farms, the banana crates will collect automatically.

Monkeyopolis got nerfed hard in this last update, but it's still really good for saving space and increasing overall income generation

Doesnt invalidate the argument that their career path will be harder than a more in-demand degree, though. Hell, tons of people on YouTube that studied these subjects couldnt make it into their career and became some type of influencer, which in itself is even harder to get tons of success at with everyone trying to become one. Just look at people like Odds1out and Let me Explain; even they got degrees in STEM fields and couldnt get into respective jobs and ended up becoming Diamond-tier subscribers YouTubers and work for themselves.

that's not an argument. if more people got education for degrees that you arbitrarily think are not "worthless", there would just be more people that "studied these subjects" and still "couldn't make it into their career"

Housing is not created equally. So saying landlords shouldn't exist brings up the problem of who gets the luxury homes and who gets the crap homes.

I only tended to be in Riften for that hot garbage (like the rest of the game) Thieves Guild quest line.

I don't think the whole game is hot garbage. the quality is extremely inconsistent though. I would say that the Thieves' Guild is the second worst (the worst is the Forsworn quest line)
