I think the slow process of all this happening and my wife being able to choose how she leaves this life will make a difference. I know this is what she wants, how she wants it, and is in the frame of mind to make those decisions. From the sounds of it you literally get the same meds you get if you are going under for surgery, and then when you are under the gas you get meds to stop your heart. Literally you just go to sleep and that is it.

I say all those before it happens. I could very easily see myself just being a wreck.

Mad respect for both of you, your strength and her will to preserve her dignity trough all this. Can't lie, i never experienced something like this nor even pretend to understand, But i have saw and experience close family wasting away from disease and then very recently a stroke that left the person barely concious.

She doesn't groom or anything, but silver doesn't tease rivel at all last week.

Good news! Rivel has been doing very well. She's no longer limping and been eating like normally.

Just a little bit is fine. Sometimes i give rivel parmesan the size of a corn kernel she's fine

Rivel update: still recovering. She's been eating slightly better and she hasn't left my bed the past few days except for using the litterbox. Purring loudly when i lay beside her.

I have been treating rivel like a queen todaym i brought her food to her couch, even water, so she doesn't have to walk much. She still have to get down to use the toilet tho

update: it seems like rivel sprained her back leg. the doctor said it's very unlikely to have broken bone, and she checked for ulcers, didn't find anything. it's most likely just a sprain, they told me just let her rest and watch her for signs of it getting worse or not getting better after 3-4 days.

Just got home from the vet. They couldn't find anything wrong with her. I will just have to keep an eye for further development. She's still eating and using the litterbox, just less of it. No fever, no snotty nose

I think rivel is unwell. She's been sleeping a lot since monday, but then she's still mostly eating normal. 1 day of sleeping is usually normal is she zoom around in the night. Yesterday i had some thing to take care so i went out all day, so sadly i didn't observe her much. Today she's still sleeping a lot and more lethargic. She walks slowly, doesn't climb upstairs nor to her desktop bed, she ate half the portion she usually does. I am gonna take her to the vet tomorrow and get her checked out.

i know now what makes the crusade building annoying. they often give us random non-regular units during events or story quests, but they are always a pain to replenish since you only have rng to the mercenary recruitment or trough recruiting decree. i feel it'd be a waste to just dismiss them but it also litter the map with useless units

Level 7-8 demons started invading in the crusade campaign. So annoying. You can only build 3 teleport circle too at this point of the game. I hope owlcat just ditch management part next, but knowing rouge trader, there will be some kind of trading sim involved with modified engine.

The smilodon is also few character that can tank my grease before i get the favored metamagic so she's very important.

Basically none, especially considering dogs are goddamn monsters.

My smilodon buffed now is the best damage dealer in the game so far.

This is why I like to keep Nenio around, she's really good at clearing out mobs from a single spell and here she killed 5 enemies before the first round with weird. With a 43 will and fortitude DC and -4 to save throws from shaken and that one belt with -2 will saves most enemies will simply explode. You can even kill bosses not immune to mind affect if you're lucky, you can take away -12 to their saving throws since Ember's and Camellia's evil eye effect stack with one another. She thematically fits any party since all she cares about is her encyclopedia, good crowd control and death spells, good with buffs, she can craft scrolls and she has some pretty funny interactions like the one with Nocticula and Baphomet.

Nenio 1 hit kill the dragon in chapter 3 for me lmao. I went in fully buffed and everything, suddenly the battle just ended

i don't know what to feel about the crusade system yet. at first the king's bountry /homm like is cool but man it does break the flow. you can't progress exploring the map with it, and grinding for resource is really annoying, but you sometimes get great items from fighting demons on the map too

Btw you can also "cheat" the game with animal companion feats. Teamwork feats require 3 intelligence, but i forgot to raise it during level 8 upgrade, so i equipped an int raising tiara, level up, pick outflank, unequip and the feat still work. Actual combat tested too.

I just acquired heighten spell so now i am level 10 and can cast level 4 grease, which has a lot more DC. Next time i get feat is probably gonna get favorable metamagic so it doesn't affect my friends

Almost finished chapter 2. I got the sword of valor. It doesn't feel overwhelming anymore as now i understand more of the synergies. I picked azata, now i got a giant cat and a little cute dragon. Too bad i cannot build aivu on my own. She's only auto level up?

i heard in the tabletop game there are weapon types you can use while prone, and there are mechanics that lets you crawl? it isn't implemented in any of the games, that what made grease so OP in the owlcat videogames. kinda weird they didn't implement it.

Lol i killed (ch.2 side boss)zacharias by greasing the floor. He has low reflex save bonus, and literal slippery floor killed a lich once he's on the floor and cannot cast spell it's only a matter of dispelling his buffs then whacking him out of his dry bones

are teamwork feats still good? it was pretty strong in kingmaker.

At least it sounds so on paper lol. The chapter 2 intro was long i barely got any combat. Just did seelah's companion quests, which i only fought some random mobs, which is hardly measure

Thundering blows: you can create melee character who can't hit shit like darkness from konosuba but still able to dish out AOE damage.

Boundless healing: basically turn the basic touch healing spell into ranged spell AND makes it scale to your caster level.

no. the anime was fantastic but the game still has very boring gameplay loop with 80% of the quest are ubisoft tier activities. excluding the character quests, there are like 3 or 4 memorable quests in the game, the rest are ubisoft garbage. they can fix the bugs, they can fix the AI, but they will never fix the fundamentally flawed gameplay loop. compared to the witcher games, it's pathetic.

I find it hilarious that the insect swarm fight (jeslyn that can summon bug plague) is waaay harder than the actual boss. Fuck that fight, took almost an hour and dozen of retries. In the end the strategy that works is running as fast as i can to the jeslyn, grease its floor and watch it stumble like tom and jerry character before it can cast summon swarms. My horse and smilodon tank the mooks while party member whack the demon ass while it's prone.

I am playing the difficulty before core. Challenging i think. I have to put at least some thoughts into it. I finished kingmaker with the same difficultly, but the scale of choice is just too different. I am starting to get it now, even already have plans

Well, tomorrow is going to be a long day.

Chipper, Momma Kitty's grandson, is going for a vet visit. Two weeks after his first UTI, he got it again. A week after that, his third. This time he was given stronger medicine however before it was gone, he is having issues a fourth time. Unfortunately, his urine is red and he is trying to go a lot. So the vet will have to wait until his bladder is full then get a sample to test, and he will have to spend the whole day at the vet tomorrow. At least tomorrow we should finally get the news - rather good than bad hopefully.
