yes you will have all the skins. I'm just pointing out they are a lot harder to get now since there are no lootboxes and they got really stingy with currency

I've also mostly only seen very inarticulate criticism of Rings of Power. Pretty excited to check it out actually.

I just watched, in my opinion a very mediocre show. I didn't read the source material but so far there is not much of a story, very uneventful 2+ hours. Characters are pretty flat, and immersion is not very strong at all.

As for the rest, I mean, it's Amazon, I am pretty sure they added the absolute minimal "diversity" so that they could deflect all criticism as inherently bigoted and invalid.

I've never been, but I have spent a long time looking at street views in cities like Edinburgh and London. Amsterdam, Stockholm, Paris.

Since I live on the west coast it feels prohibitively expensive to visit Europe... I don't know when I'll be able to. Maybe I'll compromise and visit QC instead. lol

I wonder what you guys feel about the online-o-sphere. I've been thinking about my place in the internet ecosystem in a totally non-philosophical way.

Here's an analogy: It's like voting in an election. Of course your vote doesn't matter at all, but in a much more or less real sense, it does. If I no longer upvote every post that shits on America, does America grow stronger? Because of this I sometimes feel the need to participate in this ecosystem.

User reviews are bullshit, mostly, but I think way more people read them than write them, you know? Well, I fucking write them. Cause someone needs to write them. That is my thesis.

I started to feel like I was really forming world views or opinions based on anecdotes I read online, especially on Reddit. My tipping point was when my girlfriend was describing a post that she read online in detail and I found that to be incredibly stupid. And I realized that is probably how I sound since I spend so much time reading incredibly stupid opinions on Reddit.

I deleted my Reddit account and the app. I'm not sure what else to do beyond that. Thankfully I have been off Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, and Facebook for years already. GameFAQs doesn't count obviously.

yeah, I hold the opinion that spoilers are not real and if you think they are then you are your own enemy.

opposite, I think what happened is that I got shoes I could "grow into" cause that's what I grew up with... until I realized my feet weren't actually growing anymore and I could just buy shoes that fit me. so I went from 11 to 10.
