I stopped because while I enjoyed this board I was kinda addicted (I'd legit be here for like five hours a day at least at one point, a lot of that was lurking if you're wondering how I spent so much time here without being a known user), to the point where it had a detrimental effect on my college work (and I think leaving actually did help in that respect). And I realized I didn't really like it as much as any of the other forums I went on anyways since I never really had much of a presence here. --- RIP in Pieces GamerJM, 2007-2015. DKR is probably better but they're both in the "fine I guess," categories for me. MK didn't get great until Double Dash IMO. Undertale was legit people passionate about the game, L-Block was novel, Draven was just "LEL I TROLL U," coming from a shitty MOBA community. UltimaterializerX posted... Brawl > Melee is the worst result we've ever had, but thankfully this site (and the Smash community at large) has since wisened up to Brawl being trash. Also can confirm this, I voted Brawl in that poll back in the day and now I like Melee so much that I've gone to three supermajors lol. It was the year the N64 got BT, Perfect Dark, Majora's Mask, Mario Party 2, Ogre Battle 64, etc. The PS1 got a shitton of JRPGs that year. The PS2 released. That's a good thing, I thought X was overly large and padded. BotW still feels huge. You have much more freedom in BotW than either game though. As for how I actually feel about the game, dunno, still haven't finished it. I get the impression that by the end of it, it'll be a game that I appreciate more than I actually like. Open worlds just aren't really my jam, but this game does them so well that even I can appreciate them....but I feel like by the end of the game I'll get tired of the lack of direction/linearity. --- RIP in Pieces GamerJM, 2007-2015. The kinds of people who care enough about console wars bullshit are the kinds of people who are on this site already, and most of them probably don't even think recent consoles are the "greatest of all time". Rallying a console is like rallying FF7 or something.
