Blades felt kinda simplistic and the last version felt lacking in personality and clunkier. Really sucks that in retrospect it was only a thing for like three years, but what can you do I guess. AI I think is....good I guess. Takes a while to pick up. The gameplay is also like, almost objectively bad in certain ways. Thought it was kinda disappointing given the praise I had saw and the pedigree of the people working on it. By the end I was in love with the cast though. --- RIP in Pieces GamerJM, 2007-2015. I figured I'd either really love it or think it's absolute garbage. instead I'm just kinda eh. This sums up my thoughts fairly well, though it's also worth adding that I wasn't big on how weighty the combat was, though it eventually ended up clicking with me to a certain extent (and I think the way character switching works is at least kinda genius). --- RIP in Pieces GamerJM, 2007-2015. Which would line up with some of what Q said wrt telling people not to report to polls or something. That + problematic polling methods + there being a nugget of truth to the whole "people are afraid to say they support Trump in polls" thing (even though it's not as big of a thing as the centrists claim) would be my guess, but idk --- RIP in Pieces GamerJM, 2007-2015. I'd say 22-23 is around the time age gaps like this stop becoming weird because that's around the time people who started college at 18 graduate. At 19 you're still a teenager and you're only a year removed from high school. It's okay to be casually friends with people in their 30s, maybe if you met in an online game or something, but I'd be weirded out if they were like best friends. --- RIP in Pieces GamerJM, 2007-2015.
