That I do! I'll do one foreground (character) and one background pic for anyone I am about to tag in my next few posts. Either PM me what you'd like in concept or straight-up links to images you'd like me to do and I'll work with you on it. You can also post them here if you don't care for privacy. Where do I find images to make into match pics?
The best place are fan wikias. Take this for example: https://zelda.gamepedia.com/Gallery:Link

You can also sometimes find good art on fan tumblrs and kisspng. Or you can just use Google.

I want to learn how to make pics! What free programs do I use?
Well you can use MSPaint for the backgrounds, but if you want to do character portraits, you need something that can handle an alpha channel (aka being transparent) you need Photoshop or Gimp.

How do I make match pics? I don't know nothin' about nothin'.
Start by asking questions here! Also just play around, that's how we all used to learn. I knew 0 about Photoshop before I started making match pics.

Sure! Post pics that you think would be a good match pic here and someone will try to help you out if it's plausible. Make sure pics are high quality and not cropped awkwardly. We'll let you know if it works or not. Memes welcome.

CONTEST IMAGE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All images must be 240 pixels wide by 120 pixels high. PNG format recommended for background images, required for foreground images.

All images must be composed from official game artwork, original artwork, or in-game screenshots. No "fan art" from outside artists will be accepted.

You can submit foreground or background images for each character. There is no restriction on the number of submissions.

Foreground images should focus solely on the character, with the middle third potentially centered (on narrow mobile devices), be a PNG with a transparent background (as the current images are), the character facing forward or to the right, and reversible depending on which side of the bracket they'll be facing. You can find current default images in the /images/x/char2/ directory here on the site (e.g. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/images/x/char2/97.png).

Background images should be muted in color (as the character will be in the foreground), but can represent the character and their game(s) as creatively as you want. We suggest overlaying the default foreground images on top to make sure that they'll look good when they're put together.

i gotta say the worst i have felt this contest is making a stink about the Alucard Netflix Boost pre-contest, getting told it wouldn't matter, then taking him to division finals regardless of what people said... and having him lose to fucking big boss
