also depends on area. Beach, zoo, museums, restaurants/bars but one step at a time lol. museums youre safe with balboa, they have a few good ones depending on subject and the new comic con ones pretty cool depending on whatever themes going on. Beach you can do: Ocean Beach which is the most laid back but also has the most local only vibe. Its got some good restaurants and cool shops. Mission Beach which is the most touristy but has a decent strip and some cool stuff both at Belmont park and down the main strips where the restaurant and bars are. Pacific Beach which is generally considered the party beach, lots of bars down grand avenue and around the beach in general La Jolla which has a few beaches but unless you know where one likes wind and sea are youre better off going to La Jolla shores which is the most packed but has a really good hub and a nice beach when you make it. This is the more upscale area along with anything north of it. Then lastly for restaurants/bars, depending on what you want youll find it. Theres basically everything somewhere. Few general tips is to check out Convoy street for some amazing Asian food. My recommendations would be Nishiki Ramen and the Akuma if you like spicy (otherwise anything in general) along with Manna BBQ which is all you can eat for a good price and genuinely amazing. we also have downtown with a lot of resturants, sea port village for a cool area and upscale restaurants, old town for generally the same stuff, then really really good hole in the wall taco shops. Some are hit or miss for sure but in general youre not gonna be disappointed with a California or surf and turf burrito (or a breakfast burrito for mornings) lastly the Zoo is a great choice. Sea worlds not bad if you like sea creatures, wild animal park is a long drive up the 15 but super nice (and owned by the zoo). That's the issue 4loko had: it had way more alcohol than the taste made obvious so people were pounding them down the way they wouldn't with hard liquor. meh, I drank a lot of OG 4lokos and I cant really say it tasted good, it taste okay but it was always hard to get the first half of it down if you didnt mix it into jungle juice or something. The real problem is after the first half you were so drunk that it started to taste good and youd basically slam the last half and another can afterwards. Those things were legit crazy. idk where you are, but I only see tattoos on small business and blue collar workers. And some sectors with famous rich people, I guess. many major city youre gonna find it even in white collar. Ive seen it it tech, healthcare, sales, service, and biotech. Granted we were lucky to both start making more (and I substantially more) shortly after but even for the first ~2 years making about $40 total we werent struggling. We werent living lavishly either but never worried about making the payment. When interest rates are low its not as scary as it sounds. The point isnt the characters dont suck. Its that the focus on the character narrative popularized the concept in modern form. The flashbacks were specifically character driven arcs, not devices to further the plot which was more common.
