Beowulf (the 1999 movie starring Christopher Lambert w/ MK techno fight music and gratuitous backflips) is unironically one of my favorite movies of all time.

I think most people don't even know which Beowulf film I'm referring to, and those that do probably think it's a bad movie.

The last witch hunter. Dont find much love for it but Vin is having more fun than he even did as riddick. Movies heavily underrated imo.

I miss early 2000s plot twists in movies. Some of them, like this, were so silly and on the nose but they always hit just right with the inevitable fast-cut reveal montage + trendy music at the time.

Speed Racer immediately springs to mind. It's gotten a bit of a cult following now, but when it released there were maybe five people total on the planet who loved it, and I was proud to be one of them. Not that the movie isn't 40% a hot mess, but I adored the 60% it did right.

I also loved the first half of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Too bad the second half ruined it.

Ghostbusters 2016. It's fun and clever I love those characters. I would love to see them return in future films but at this point it's never gonna happen.

Crystal Skull. My favorite Indy film, and I truly don't get why people don't think it blends in seamlessly alongside the rest of the series. Yeah, that monkey scene is a little cheesy but one weird minute shouldn't ruin the entire thing.

Batman & Robin. Its a fun, colorful movie that knew exactly what it was doing, unlike Forever which seems completely unaware of its own ham. Tommy Lee Jones is way more cringe than Arnie could ever hope to be. Plus Clooney is a great Bruce Wayne and his relationship with Alfred really sparkles here. My favorite Batman movie after Returns, honestly.

The Hellboy reboot. No idea why it gets so much hate. It's got a similar style and tone to the previous one's, good action, good comedy, Sheriff Hopper was a fantastic fit for Hellboy, and the R rating was a small bonus. We were never getting a Hellboy 3. This is far and away the best we could have hoped for.

This DC inferiority complex has got to go. All the DC movies people have mentioned have positive ratings on RT, the Snyder cut having a suspiciously high rating.

People like the DC movies, you are not a lone rebel flying in the face of public sentiment.

Edit: Except Batman and Robin. Because, obviously.
