I haven't seen any panicking hospitals lately in the US, even in cesspool states like CA/NY. Canada is acting like its March 2020 running around like headless chickens not knowing how to handle a spike. Really....struggling to ration basic medications, overflowing hospitals with no space, how are they this bad off? Not like they had over a year or anything... But hey get what you pay for eh?

I mean in US hospitals you can go into medical debt for the rest of your life and that's just a common thing

And you get similar or worse care on top of it if you actually go by the statistics instead of news story anecdotes

The autocomplete was so bad it wouldn't even suggest the word String itself. I mean, that's fine, I know that one, but pretty silly you have to type it out first to find out whether or not the compiler will yell at you. No professional IDE from like the past 10+ years still works like that

You'd be amazed by the bullshit python people put up with, no intellisense on 90% of the popular IDEs.

"Oh just simply remember all 200 string commands"

No, it's a marketing gimmick 95% of the time, and if you're in an environment that need them, you'll already know what/where to shop for, and you can already presume they're noise-canceling.

As someone that's done a lot of research into noise cancelling technology going as far as designing a circuit with noise cancelling specialized processors

The published papers on noise cancelation state that it's the shape of the headset more than the inverted sound waves that do the cancelling. It wasn't until recently that inverted sound waves actually did anything since algorithms have been getting better with machine learning, predicting future sound waves in real time in order to get that perfect timing.

The shape of the headset in combination with a good fit on the user's head with a soft muffling material does mute outside noises very well. So you're right and wrong.

I should rephrase this, people who buy and sell stocks with a sell limit of 20% gains are trading badly.

It's slow and inaccurate. Going for *1.6 gains is the the most efficient going by my results.

It's a common thing said by traders to not sell for measly profits and I am also repeating that sentiment.

Shrimpy gains consistently rank dead last, don't do it. As a matter of fact, I'd go as far as to say it's near completely impossible to make money off shrimpy gains unless you one of the best. Like, top 10% of investors. Those guys went to school, most people don't.

I scrape online users' forum posts that share trades and run simulations on them, comparing them against historic data

I store the simulation results on my database, give each user a profile and an accuracy rating.

I wrote 5 different programs just to manage update process and use the data from various sources on my own personal Windows.

I will say this, if you are in the stock market and you are trying to make profit off 5-20% gains, you are doing it incredibly wrong. That's not my opinion, that's a statistical fact. You will make less money period, if you make profit you will make money slower.

If you want in on this, just wait. I'm not ready to share my results yet. However, I have found something similar to what I am doing, and it's much further along. I have a lot of trust in it, because it's literally my entire initial concept, except someone else did it before me. It's a hedge fund run by AI and fed by the community.

There was an experiment that could read visuals from your eyes by scanning your brain, it used simple pattern recognition neural networks.

Neural networks are not as complicated as people think they are and have a very simple way of implementing them, I hope people aren't so intimidated about learning about them. You simply put the inputs in the right place and it does its best to try and predict what will happen all on its own.

I bet if more people knew how they worked we would have more ideas floating around on what to use them for.

We do this headless "no budget for empathy" approach until people get so fed up until they turn to fascism or socialism, so really it's just which one we want to choose.

In this regard, European countries that have largely kept their deregulation problem at bay will likely be the most stable Capitalist countries to exist, whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Think my view makes a lot more sense when you see young Americans with no future either going hard left or right because they hate their lives and want radical change. To think, if there was no or less corporate propaganda, people would naturally choose regulation, and Capitalism would be modestly functional.
