I am SO god damn happy this is back. I don't ever watch the full show but every Monday the highlight of my day is getting off work and sitting on my couch with my state legal/federally illegal substance of choice and watching a 15-25 minute video on Youtube by a snarky British dude.

Guacamelee was a pretty fun Metroidvania game. I beat the first one and played a little of the second IIRC.

Take a look at what saving throws the enemies need to make for each spell. If you're using one that has a WIS check and are using it against enemies with high wisdom you're going to fail.

Same thing AFAIK. People heard the story and said "eh this isn't as bad as we thought" or "Eh, this is totally overblown." He stayed in hiding for a while but has been doing comedy again. I don't think you'll see him become as popular as he was before though.

See, I think given some more time you'll start seeing those Netflix specials again. His new album is Grammy nominated.

Of all the stories that came out during MeToo his was probably one of the least problematic. I don't think you'll ever see him as big as he was previously, but honestly, that's because the guy was kinda big already. He wasn't Dane Cook in early 2000s popular but he's well known. I think you'll start seeing him in movies and shows again.

That's probably some curated stuff. There are thousands of episodes of the show. I would imagine someone making a spotify playlist would include some of the more decent stuff so it might be an okay place to start.

I used to fall asleep to the radio when I was younger, mainly to AM Cleveland sports games and talk shows. Very late at night when they were over C2C would come on and I honestly can't remember much about it but I remember loving the hell out of the song they would usually finish the show with.

Imagine a "serious" call in talk show (sometimes the topics are outrageous). Then imagine the host (unknown to the caller) using technology to sound old, young, male, female and "interviewing" himself. At least one character will say something completely outrageous.

Callers - in good faith - call in to "correct the story" and Hendrie as either himself, or most often, manipulating his voice to sound like his "interviewee", trolls and fucks with the callers for 2 hours. Never anything serious or too political, but stuff like HOAs, weight loss, breast implants, letting neighbors use the toilet, etc. (just off the top of my head).

Takes a few shows to "get" it and figure out which characters are him. Once you realize how he's trolling, it can be hysterical. The callers often got furious and there's bleeps and hangups frequently.

Exactly where I thought it was going. The one dude on this clip is insisting that the only reason Jeb Bush is running is because he knows George W will rig the vote for him for a reason. I won't give the reason here but there's going to be all sorts of callers pissed off they said it so i can see what this show is about and it's kinda funny so far.

There is a subreddit dedicated to Art Bell that you can find a BUNCH of archived stuff for. I even found a Spotify playlist called Art Bell Tape Vault that has a bunch of stuff on it.

That's actually something I haven't thought about since I haven't listened in forever. I know the show is still going, are modern episodes about Covid and being anti-vaxx? I wouldn't want to listen if they were.

I don't care. I don't think what someone wears changes their ability to do their job better. If anything being forced to wear something you find uncomfortable would make someone very very slightly worse at their job.

Side note: I voted for Fetterman.

I always enjoyed it. Yes, it was all mostly bullshit with people calling in saying they saw Shadow People or were bitten by werewolves. It was still decent entertainment, especially when you realize some of the callers genuinely believe what they are saying.

I haven't listened since the early 2000s. I would love a place to go back and listen to the old episodes on demand.

Just ordered one. Not even for myself but as a raffle prize for a video game charity event we do twice a year. I ordered the 35 dollar one. The 90 dollar edition is cool, but there won't be enough genuine interest in the game to justify that. I think people who go for it will be doing more as a novelty thing.

So I bought the game on launch for my PS5 and it was kinda bad. I stopped playing after an hour or two. Yesterday I bought it on PC and started playing it. I'm having fun but I'm not that far. I'm about to go get in the car with Dexter. It looks pretty good and I am real curious what it looks like when I buy a new PC in February. Now I'm just streaming it on a 3060/3080 rig (I forget which) through GeForce Now.

I had fun with it when I had 3 buddies also playing. Lost interest at the end though because it was the same shit over and over.

changed my mind. It's 35 bucks on PC for base game, or 60 for base game plus upcoming expansion. I am building a new PC in February, but have been using GeForce Now for a month or so until I build it. I think for 60 bucks I'll pick it up on PC and play it starting tonight.

I'm honestly just unsure what ADHD is like and I wonder just how limiting it is. What's happening in your head when you can't focus, you just think of a hundred different things at once, or?

I won't respond after this since I don't want to take TCs topic over or something.... My friends joke and call me "75 percent (my name)." Anything I would start had 0 chance of being finished. A task around home, at work, or even a video game would only get partially done before I moved on to something else. When I would try to start a project at work it would hold my attention for 5 minutes before I was doing something else, maybe even another work project that needs done after the one I'm supposed to be working on. Anything that could draw my attention away would do that, and it didn't even have to be something interesting.

I will sometimes be a little tired on Saturdays which I attribute to not taking the pill and while it isn't the best word, withdraw from it. But Saturdays are usually my do stuff around the house/relax days so it isn't that big a deal. I hesitate to use the word withdraw earlier, and I don't mean it in a scary way. I'm not laying on the couch shaking waiting until I take my next pill. I just may be a little lethargic.

I will OCCASIONALLY take one on a weekend if I know I need to be focused and alert but those are rare.

Would I get annoyed? Fuck yes. That's why I couldn't be a teacher, and I'm one of those that it takes a time or three for me to understand something.

Should teachers? No. They are supposed to be patient and find new ways to explain things to people who aren't getting it.

What is the record?

There was two people tied at 9 which Max tied three races ago. Then two races ago he won his 10th. Last race he barely finished in the top 5 so the record didn't extend.
He set the new record of 10 race wins in a row.

I don't really have anyone I root for on top of everyone else. I have a few I root for in general because I like them. George Russell is one of those and the end to his race yesterday was rough. Poor guy.
