Just as an aside, I've only been a fan for the last 3 or 4 years (thanks Drive to Survive). While I know the names of "the greats" I have never really seen them racing so I may be speaking way too early about Max possibly being the GOAT.

I remember playing the Genesis one. And I remember playing the SNES one. But I don't remember which is which.

Which one was the one that was a top down game out in the world but switched to a doom style game when in buildings? SNES? I never got far in it.

Apparently they were empty boxes supposed to symbolize books. Not taking away from the dumbness of it, but it might not have actually been books.

I'll maybe check it out then. The first one had great combat and a great overall look to it, but the stories were so bad it lost me. I just gotta finish BG3 and Starfield first.

It's my number one most hated chore. I despise it. Sometimes when my cluster headaches are acting up I literally can't do it without getting one. It's annoying too because I have a small yard that I can cut and trim in like 20-30 minutes.

It was wild how this song was EVERYWHERE for like a year or two.

My playstyle is I keep the same party members for the whole playthrough, so I don't really have switching. I will agree though that it is kind of a pain the way they have you do it.

Everything else aside about how those are to mess with homeless people, etc.

Nah. I waited tables on and off for years. I made good money at it but I hated it. I dunno about the less stress thing, it's a different kind of stress. More immediate. But it leaves you at the end of the night. And then if you're truly a server you go blow that on drugs and alcohol.

Earthbound was one of my favorites as a kid. Mother 3 is better.

If stabbing, swords. If magic, lore.

Valor is sort of a middle ground with better survivability, but meh.

I did Valor. It doesn't make me a melee or ranged powerhouse, but I still get two attacks if needed and can decently buff.

My first character is a Bard. I know you can build Bards to be pretty decent combat wise. I use mine more as a utility type character like some backup heals, crowd control, buffing party members. Plus he is my main talking and lockpicking character.

I always kinda liked Jason X, but mostly because it was a new wild setting.

What has happened to the series after the reboot? I remember seeing it in theaters and thinking it was pretty decent. Was that really 2009? Why no new ones?

I would think that if you have stomach issues it could seriously damage or hurt you. Maybe the kid had unknown conditions or something.

I would think for a restraining order you would need to have it documented that you have told this person to no longer contact you or show up to places you are. If they continued then it would be restraining order time.

But I'm also not a lawyer.

Oh cool. I played the first one and liked it.

So from what I've read, and as someone who has been halfway through all the books for a while (but knows the story beats fro all of it) it seems like the second season is a lot better production wise, which I expected. But if you were pissed about the changes in Season 1 you'll probably continue to be pissed in Season 2.

I'm excited to give it a watch.

Does Karlach still get a crummy ending if you played as her?

from what I have been reading, yes, she still has a crummy ending. They added a few scenes to try to make it a little better but any serious revamps will take some time.

Also seeing that the fixes don't really do anything for Act 3 frame rate drops.

I just want my characters to have their normal hair color again.

Nice. I gotta go out of town for a few days but I will pick up my character at the beginning of Act 3 in a few days.

People use it as a crutch, much like others use alcohol or sex. Anything can be bad when you do it too much.

I am a daily user, and when I'm not at work odds are I used it. Am I physically addicted? No. Am I mentally addicted? Yeah, probably. It's become such a part of my daily routine. I don't get withdraw symptoms when I take a break though. I have been cutting down though and plan to do it more as a special occasion thing.

My issue is it made me too complacent with doing nothing. I am too content being able to lounge around the house on weekends doing nothing I started it because it helped social anxiety.

Got to Act 3 on my bard and saved. Waiting for the patch before I do Act 3. So instead I rolled up a new character.

Meet my new Cleric, Juany Rico. Going for a more melee focused Cleric. Bumped STR up to 16 along with Wisdom. Con is 15 and I will up that to 16 with a feat later. Probably gonna wear heavy armor.

Trade jobs in general like plumber, carpenter, etc. I work office side in the construction field and I realize this kind of minimizes my role as not being thought about as a "working man." I think I'm a working man too but the trade jobs are the ones that come to mind first.

Peripheral vision is nice. So is the fact that contacts don't fog up.

But honestly, the biggest reason is I hate wearing glasses and being sweaty. Like I REALLY hate it. I switched to contacts and haven't looked back.

I'm still rocking my Pixel 4. I should upgrade soon.

I cannot BELIEVE they patched out Chest of the Mundane's weight reduction. I'm in shambles

I read about it and grabbed it when I came upon it. I put all my green and above equips that I wasn't using in it to reduce weight. When I tried to take the items out they ended up becoming green and above forks and spoons and shit. Like the items didn't switch back. I reloaded a save and didn't even bother picking it up again.

Is there ANY differences between what happens with Men and Women's bodies in space/low gravity? If so then nah, send both to see the effects. If the effects are the same then I don't really care.

Yeah I don't think I have seen anything like that for a solo character in this game.

The Killing Box, aka Grey Knight, aka Ghost Brigade. I have only ever seen it once but I have never, ever, heard someone else mention it. I knew it as The Killing Box but apparently it has multiple names.

It's a Civil War zombie movie. It actually has a cast with some well known people, Martin Sheen, Billy Bob Thornton, David and Alexis Arquette. I remember it being kinda bad but reading about it on Wikipedia it seems like it more "okay."

Edit: Actually the Martin Sheen thing may have just been a cameo.

Can you play this game solo without any of those annoying followers these games tend to have?
I don't abide by distracting drama.

I know you don't have to take companions. And i've heard people say it can be beaten with 1 character but it's gonna be pretty tough. Maybe some mods to help even out the one character thing, if there are any for that.
