Electode- Hey look, a Pokeball on the ground in Gen 2 *hears battle theme, notices Pokeball-like Pokemon in front of me* DAMN YOU TEAM ROCKET, WHY YOU CONFUSE ME SO. He's one fast sucker.
Raichu- Why can't you equip a Thunder Ball ;( You so much more epic than Pikachu.
Luxray- Scary looking, and that's what makes it cool.
Galvantula- I HATE SPIDERS... and that's why you're third instead of 1st or 2nd. Otherwise, you're one strong sucker and the evolved form of the cutest Poke to ever exist. You win triple points for that, even if you are a spider.
Magnezone- MAGNET RISE *enemy summons a fire-type* CRAP. This poke may be slow, but he's still an excellent Gen 4 add.
Elektross- What they did with Rotom perfected. Levitate w/o a second-type on an Electric-type, aka, the first "no weakness" Poke since Ghost/Dark Pokes.
Honorable Mentions: Joltik, Joltik, Joltik (I don't add them to my top 6 for being cute, but this Poke wins all Honorable mention votes). Also Electivire (for power), and Ampharos (Nostalgia), but mostly Joltik

Shame for the Scorpion, but I love you better as a Poison-type for removing your Psychic Weakness, not as a Dark-type for adding on Ground-type weakness and Steel, etc.

Nidoking- Giovanni's famous badass, just imagine seeing this Poke irl. He's just epic, though I wish the Poison wasn't there, but it makes for a good Grass-repellent.
Sandslash- Dem claws. He was a member of my original Gen 1 team as well, so nostalgia hits this boy.
Hippowdon- The Poke other than T-Tar with Sand Stream. Except, he's a sand hippo and looks like he's about to eat you. I just say he looks somewhat cool.
Marowak- Who am I kidding, a skull on his head and a bone as a weapon. This was one nice Poke with the nostalgia of Lavender Tower. :( When I heard that story, I was sad that I didn't use this Poke. So my second time of Gen 1 included him.
Garchomp- A shark dragon and the main Poke of Cynthia. I never played Gen 4 so this is not nostalgia, but is a badass showing up at some point when I turned on the TV and saw some ep of Pokemon. And a nice Poke to use on a Sandstorm team.
Gliscor- Now back with less Gligar. Yes, I had to do both versions since this is a Poke group that may still be Ground-type, but flies through the air and chops your heads off. He looks creepy as hell but can dodge quite a bit.
None of my faves can withstand Ice-types. :(
Honorable Mentions- Flygon (sorry bro, but Levitate is a sorry excuse for staying Ground-type), Other guys that could have been repeated (yeah yeah), Groudon (Nice concept, but you'd make a better Fire-type), and Golurk (Nice look I must say).

I've now let the superior girls of Soul Calibur fall, as well as a few others I truly like. Farewell you... 5 within the past 3 days I think? or 4 days. I think more likely it's 6 characters in 4 days that I've lost.

cody11533 posted... I've gotten Manaphy once in Brawl, and it was amazing. Why won't they let you customize how often certain Pokemon come out of Pokeballs? Why?
Because people would break it by ensuring only a certain Poke comes out of it so that they can win easily by placing it perfectly.
But yes, Manaphy in Brawl is awesome.
Also, Registeel has a Nazi salute? Thanks for letting me know that Bosco, I never noticed it.

Zigzagoon- I literally only like this Poke for its name, isn't that strange? Type it right now, it's fun to type.
Clefable- Metronooooooooooooooooooooome. This Poke I used at one point in Gen 1 and got REEAAALLY lucky with the Metronomes. Like Thundershock against one of Misty's Pokes, and Flamethrower against a Gloom, and etc. Up until Sabrina when it used Low Kick did I use this Poke.
Kecleon- Here's another troll Poke. Use a move on him and if he lives, he changes types. He's kinda fun to mess around with in the wild. GO VIBRAVA, USE DRAGONBREATH *Kecleon changes types* DO IT AGAIN *super effective*
Smeargle- He needs more love, this Poke can use any move he wants. ANY MOVE HE WANTS! Want a Poke with crappy stats and all three 120 BD elemental moves? You got it. Oh right.
Now to be serious, Snorlax is the true Poke to be #3- Nostalgia. Other than that it's just really strong. After all, he can beat you down while still looking asleep. BEAT THAT.
Eevee- The free Poke you get from Bill and either use a stone, level it, or just leave in a box till you decide to breed it and use the Eevee swarm. So much nostalgia in such a little package.
Zangoose- A MONGOOSE, HE LOOKS BADASS. Exactly my first impression and I still believe that. He's a crazy poke.
Honorable Mentions: Castform (unique ability), Archeus (that one with Judgement, and the special moves of Darkrai, Palkia, and Dialga that I have), and a lot more I would probably shift back and forth between a lot of these Pokes.

You're right, I was mistaken. The original troll was Sudowoodo! You know you thought he was Grass type! Also Chatter has far more potential to troll than Counter.
Right, Sudowoodo was before the XD face. And it's not just Counter, it's "We know how you use your Poke, you don't get to use a move and you can't leave"

Emporer_Kazbar posted... Except an added 25 base power (Plus the ability to lower the opponent's Special Defense, thus adding more power) VASTLY overpowers a 1-in-10 chance to confuse an opponent.
There's a reason nobody uses Psybeam competitively.
From: WickIebee | #108 Edit: To add on to answer your added judgement, no, I was honestly thinking that you were saying that it was a move that didn't confuse unlike earlier. OK.
Oh, let me clarify now. I wasn't talking about the Psychic advantage, I had gone off about the comparison between Confusion and Psybeam.
I know Psychic is better, 90 BP? Who wouldn't use?

Emporer_Kazbar posted... 54. Psybeam Nominated by: GTM Introduced: Gen I Pokemon I associate this move with: Kadabra
Psybeam has to hold a dear place in most Pokemon players' hearts in that it's generally the first non-Confusion (AKA, non-crappy) Psychic move a Psychic type learns. Especially back in the first couple generations where Psychic was more useful, this was a big thing that meant you were about to stomp some heads. It's animation is pretty good, as well. But, of course, the main flaw here is that Psychic (the move) is infinitely better and always has been, and it's hard to rate a move super high with such an inferiority, unless there's something really special about it. Which in this case, there isn't.
GaryOak151 posted... good list so far. i'd reccomend bug so far.
Also these are the first posts that i've read from you. I recognize your sig so I guess i've seen you before but whatever. One question: is english not your native tongue? You speak like someone who learned english later in life. Don't take that as an insult though your english is fine.
English is my native tongue, but... I'm just pathetic at English in truth. Anyway, the next time has been chosen so here it is.
Half of these are bugs I've actually heard of turned into Pokes
Accelgor- this guy looks cool, and is fast. Imagine his Dream World ability put to the max. Plus nice Sp. Atk with moves.
Heracross- Welcome back Hercules Beetle
Krickitune- I know that I honestly shouldn't like this Poke, but he's the first to be based off of a cricket. That's nice in my book.
Ninjask- Fast fast fast fast fast. Anything else?
Scizor/Scyther- Okay, finally the duo I have to put in one category. I don't like either of you as much in your opposite types, but as bugs, I still love that praying mantis (I think that's what Scyther's based off of) and your combat efficiency.
Yanmega- He's a Dragonfly, his pre-evo was the first one, but Yanma didn't look like a cyborg dragonfly like this awesome Poke does.
Honorable mentions: Most of Gen 5 (Gen 5 did wonders with the Bug-type. I still don't top myself with their uses though. Also, I don't like Hustle [Screw my Durant]), Parasect (SPORE), Anyone mentioned in other types (of course), and the trio lines (Weedle, Wurmple, Caterpie, etc) (For nostalgic value).
