Social boards I used to frequent used to have new posts every few seconds but that has changed to like one post per week or fewer even. Yep it's because of youtube, why see photos when you can just look how the game really looks and plays, similarly you can just skip to the part you're stuck in on playthroughs rather than start browsing a faq. As for reviews, people mostly go by company or hype nowdays but again i suspect youtube is the culprit here as well as reviews there are still going strong, botw reviews there can easily pass 1mil views.
