Now, it's time for the top 50 of each to clash and determine CE's ultimate favorite DC or Marvel character. *= Dick Tracey snuck his way into Kely's DC Save That, and seeing as he made it to the top 50, I felt he should still be included, but since he's not actually a DC character, I also included #51. Episode 6 and beyond is when the show start to get really good, and begins to figure out what exactly it's going for in terms of style, tone, and humor. Hunchback is an absolute beauty of a film, but it absolutely has some flaws. The gargoyles tonally mess up the film a pretty fair bit, and personally, I;d love for them to go all out with the idea that their coming to life is simply something Quasi imagines, having them physically and literally coming to life throws that off. There's some pacing issues, particularly around the Feast of Fools. Phoebus honestly needs more screentime to allow the audience more time to relate and connect with him so it's less of a blow when Or shit, --- "She was like, 'Oh, did you see that firefighter? Aladdin has very few if any major flaws that detract from it, and no one is going to be able to recapture what Robin Williams gave us with his Genie performance, especially not Will Smith. Hunchback is a film that is fucking beautiful in terms of what it gets right, but it does have a few things that keep it from being the overall masterpiece it could be. Now, it's time for the top 50 of each to clash and determine CE's ultimate favorite DC or Marvel character. *= Dick Tracey snuck his way into Kely's DC Save That, and seeing as he made it to the top 50, I felt he should still be included, but since he's not actually a DC character, I also included #51.
