The reality of that was that he occasionally came out with them and laughed in the background while Hogan or Nash talked, and considering that he was just a manager at that point there wasn't a whole lot of point of him being around beyond being Hogan's friend who needed a paycheck. Yeah that was kinda weird, he's a great promo you'd think he would be talking a lot. I guess they ditched that and him when Bischoff decided to be the guy.

Ted DiBiase got added as a totally useless fourth man about a month later, and after him it just kind of opened the floodgates of B-level guys drifting into the NWO.

Honestly the best iteration of the NWO was the pre-NWO angle with Hall and Nash as the Outsiders. Hogan turning was an awesome capstone, and then... it was kind of just a mess that disrupted the whole show for a very long time. Endless bad matches with Konnan and Buff Bagwell that end in DQ,vweekly promos by Bischoff or Hogan that just go on forever like modern Raw openers, every show having main events that are just five minutes and then the NWO running in and beating people up for 20 minutes.

DX might have been less cool a concept, but they were way less disruptive and obnoxious to the show.

Ted DiBiase was supposed to be the original money man behind the group.

Saw that video it's pretty jarring just how much was lost in this new "superior" version.

Tony's in case of emergency button. Ratings are dropping and interest waning.

That ghoul will then proceed to strip everyone nationwide of civil and economic rights. It's not a hypothetical, a case I just worked on came back with a terrible decision written by a team consisting of a Bush, Reagan,and Trump appointee. The decision harms poor people, disabled people, everyone. That's what these people are causing through their weaponized incompetence, hoarding of cushy positions, and fake identity politics.

Icy snow huh, I remember that setting from 3/AC Rogue and I can't say it's my favorite, but english countryside is nice.

The gear drops and general min/maxing was definitely a bunch of tedious crap in ac odyssey so that's also good to hear.

Yeah there are still dialogue options like Odyssey. A lot of it feels similar but just slightly better or way better to me. A lot more polished.

If it helps most of the game takes place in England (and a few other areas via DLC) so the snowy areas don't dominate the game.

If I had one real issue it's that the game isn't real good at telling you when you should do DLC or push the main story. It gives "power" recommendations but I found they tend to be off, I had one send me into a quest where I just got wrecked even though I was a bit above the recommended level. It's a lot like Odyssey where you have a lot of quests in your log but aren't sure when the best time to do them is.

It's both in a way. You can be Male or Female Eivor but they are kinda the same character overall. They aren't different people like Alexios and Kassandra.

Valhalla is way better in terms of spectacle, cutscenes and how they are animated along with dialogue in my opinion. Eivor isn't as snarky as Kassandra, they are a bit more rough considering they are a Viking but they aren't without humor or the ability to laugh at things at times.

The environments in Valhalla range from snow (of course) to English countryside. A lot of rivers, plains and swampland.

Gameplay wise it shares a lot of things but just done "better" in my opinion. When you do the search action it's MUCH more noticeable and things you ping are way easier to detect. There's no naval combat but you have a longship to coast down rivers and can raid monasteries and other things from it with a group of your own.

You also don't get swamped with gear drops. There are a lot of weapons and armor but it's stuff you find in chests or as a reward for a quest rather than constantly dropping off enemies. You upgrade what you like.
