Aquaria: It's a game that just about everyone got in one of the humble bundles, but I feel like a lot of people haven't bothered to give it a chance. It's an excellent underwater Metroidvania-style game that I really loved.
Frozen Synapse: This is such a good 1v1 tactical game. It's simple, and yet there's a whole lot of thinking involved. It's great to play a game with a friend over the course of a week (or occasionally play all the way through in one sitting). Nimbus: I'm rather disappointed this game got almost no attention at all. The basic gist is you control a ship-thing with no means of directly propelling itself. This means you have to maintain your momentum through creative falling and use of objects in the level (bounce pads and other stuff). You strike me as someone who'd probably be a bit irritating to know in real life. I don't really know why; it just seems like you're either trying too hard or just slow on the uptake sometimes. Your topics about alcohol are a bit annoying as it always seems like you don't actually want any sort of input other than "WOO ALCOHOL!"

I want to try something new.
Some stuff I like: Rusty Nail Old Fashioned Dark N Stormy Whiskey Sour White/Green Russian Not generally a huge fan of gin cocktails, but that may be due to the gin I've been using (Tanqueray). Yeah, the DLC includes the dream sequence and some other stuff like score attack. It was free on steam, and I think the lowest they could charge on 360 ($1?).

Nah, it's definitely comparable to Secret of Mana in some ways.
Also, mortar > all. I'd say they did a pretty good job of balancing the weapons and making them fun, but the mortar stands out as too powerful in my mind, while the dueling pistols without a turbo button are too weak. My combo ended up being pike/mortar (armor piercing on the pike was pretty useful). I liked the scrap musket and army carbine as well though. By the way, did you do all the dream sequences? There's one in the DLC, though I think it's like $1 on the 360. Also, the decisions at the end are pretty great, and I actually ended up having a long discussion with my roommate about them. Tripping, too floaty, items seem less fun for some reason.

Depends on what you're looking for, really.
If you want something stronger, try a Rusty Nail or a Silver Bullet (not a huge fan of this one, but my friend rather liked it...has a bit of a kick). For something more sweet/creamy and desert-like (and also weaker), try a Grasshopper (had a bunch at a St. Patrick's Day party last night) or a Green Russian. I'm not sure what you have available though. Alec would probably be able to make better recommendations. I can't remember the proportions for all of these off the top of my head (easy enough to look up, though). A Dark N Stormy is dark rum and ginger beer with lime. A Moscow Mule is the same but with vodka instead of dark rum.

Scotch + Amaretto and Vodka + Amaretto are nice simple combinations (Godfather and Godmother, respectively). 3:1 ratio, stir with ice. Also gin is basically just flavored vodka, so that's probably why you like it. Alec can probably provide you with better advice, as I'm no expert.
