The dungeons weren't very good, and there weren't very many of them, making for a fairly short main quest.

But I liked pretty much everything else about the game. I can't even remember feeling too bothered by the triforce hunting, which everyone hates.

Haven't played the custom levels, but putting the checkpoint in a place that forces you to go through an unnecessary conveyor belt section before getting to the actual challenge is a dick move.

2 spawn within the first 10 seconds. no more vans spawn until the player drops the escort off at a strip club, when 2 other vans spawn, replacing -- not in addition to -- the original 2 vans. and that's it. the mission takes two minutes

there is no 'implication' here, i explicitly said you're exaggerating. there are some terrible saints row missions; this is not one of them. i have no idea what's giving you so much trouble.


I'm a little amused that you linked him to a video where the guy fails the mission.

Here's a fun idea: play as a female character in an online game sometime. Games where someone has to play a female character (Left 4 Dead 1 or 2, etc.) do not count. Don't make any references to anything related to gender, do not voice chat, etc. Just see what happens.

Weirdly, I've done this a few times and nothing ever happened. I get the feeling it depends heavily on the size of the community for the game-- generally the more people playing, the worse the community gets. I'm pretty sure my friend got some free stuff on WoW for playing a female character.
