I hadn't thought about this yet but, even though I've never smoked weed in my life, I think that'd end up being a big part of my daily routine. Drugs would actually probably help ease the emotional pain a lot, and you wouldn't have to hide it. I've seen marijuana growing books at Barnes & Noble so I'd probably go pick one up and learn to grow weed. I'd also have to figure out where to go find a growing batch so I could replant it near my base.

I personally believe it's unethical to have any abortion, aside from one that prevents the mother's death. So no, I wouldn't abort my child just because they were disabled. With assistance, most disabled children can experience many joys in life. In fact from what I've seen, people with Down syndrome are treated well in society and are generally very happy.
