Reruns and nostalgia is usually just a temporary boom. If they keep doing original programming, they'll be fine.

OK, but The Office is the most viewed show on Netflix, and by some distance.

HBO Max took Friends and will take The West Wing.

Disney took all the Star Wars and Marvel stuff and put it on Disney+.

NBC will take The Office, Parks and Rec, Cheers, etc and put it on Peacock.

It's not looking good for Netflix.

It's not like being a game show host is a very physically demanding job, either. All you do is stand in front of a podium and tell people whether their answers are right or wrong.

Sesame Street has had a character with autism, a character who has a parent in jail, a character whose family is homeless, and a character who has a parent who's recovering from a drug addiction.

Why has Sesame Street not had a character who has parents who are the same sex? What makes it even more noticeable is that lots of kids' shows have characters who have same-sex parents. You'd think a show as progressive as Sesame Street would have done it by now.
