The other day, my computer froze while I was trying to watch a YouTube video. I had to turn the monitor on and off, then go to a different window to get my screen to unfreeze again. I could still move my mouse, and the YouTube video was still playing audio, because I could hear it, the video just wasn't moving, and I couldn't click on a new tab. This happened a couple of weeks ago, too.

How do I fix this?

I was so worried about this morning because 8-9 AM was when the power was supposed to hit peak demand, but I still have power. Tomorrow's supposed to have a high of 44, and Sunday's supposed to have a high of 52. I think the worst is over.

It's not supposed to be anywhere near as bad as last winter's storm.

I'm tired of videos and articles that talk about how the Playstation came to be acting like the big bully Nintendo screwed over the helpless victim Sony, when Sony was the bigger company back then, and Sony wanted most of the profits on the SNES CD add-on.

Don't see how this makes much of a difference, Halo/Destiny are NOWHERE NEAR as big as CoD.

Can you think of any reason the US should keep the south? Because it seems to me that that region of the country is nothing but a financial drain, and an anchor of progress.

Finding alternate ways of playing a game, whether by doing a self-imposed challenge, or just playing a game differently than it was intended, are a good way of spicing up games you've played hundreds of times.

I'll start with the 30 Melon Challenge in Yoshi's Story, where you try to get all of the 30 Melons in each level, and NO OTHER FRUIT. It's basically like Hard Mode for the game. Particular Mushroom has a video that goes into more detail.

Bragging about winning console gens because the competition f***ed up is like bragging about winning a baseball game because everyone on the other team got sick and couldn't show up.

Not salty, just stunned that people don't understand simple concepts like different parts of the country having different weather.

It's that time of year again, where northerners make fun of southerners for closing down schools and stores after an inch of snow because they don't understand that different parts of the US have different weather and thus aren't as well-prepared for certain conditions.

Why do so many comics where the creator talks about themselves or their experiences come off as, "Haha, aren't I just so endearingly neurotic?"?

Just admit you misremembered how the last name of a family of children's book characters was spelled.

It's ALWAYS been "Berenstain". I know this because I used to watch videos of the 80s Berenstain Bears cartoon in 1st grade, and used to play the Berenstain Bears Living Book games, and it's ALWAYS been pronounced, "Beren-STAIN".
