Maybe once or twice but those are nowhere near their defining character traits unlike what they are for the female characters where it's what takes up most of their screentime. You're being disingenuous or intentionally contrarian if you think Gus and Hank are portrayed as equally nagging and annoying as Skylar and Marie or Jesse as slimy as Lydia.

I wouldn't say being nagging hypocrites are anyones "defining character trait " outside of Season 1 Marie

Police have launched a murder investigation after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed outside a school in Huddersfield.

Officers received a third-party report at 2.54pm on Wednesday that a teenager had been seriously injured in an assault in Woodhouse Hill, Fartown.

The victim, who was in a critical condition, was treated at the scene and taken to Leeds General Infirmary for emergency surgery. The teenager was pronounced dead a short time later in hospital, the force said.

The attack happened close to the entrance of North Huddersfield trust school, a mixed secondary school, with a police cordon subsequently put in place.

Detectives from the West Yorkshire police homicide and major enquiry team are leading the investigation into the murder of the boy, whose identity has not been disclosed. No arrests have been made.

Senior investigating officer DS Marc Bowes said it has identified a number of witnesses but would still like to hear from anyone who has any information.

Our investigation is still at a very early stage, and we will be carrying out extensive inquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident that has resulted in the absolutely senseless loss of a young life.

We recognise that an incident of this nature will cause understandable shock and concern in the community, and we are working closely alongside our colleagues at Kirklees district who are increasing their presence in the area to reassure people and keep them updated as our investigation progresses.

We have already identified a number of witnesses to the incident itself but would still like to hear from anyone who has any information that could assist the investigation.

and let the viewer enjoy his success while at the same time sliding him further and further into villainy frog in a pot style, where you sort of see why he makes each decision individually but by the end he's doing some real nasty shit...just like the frog suddeyfinds itself in boiling water.. and people are divided on where it went too far. And some even if... Though I suspect they probably took appreciation for the character and writing to the mc centered morality endpoint of going "eh it's cool so I'm good with it".

Five British nationals held by Russian-backed forces in Ukraine have been freed.

The news ended "months of uncertainty and suffering for them", UK Prime Minister Liz Truss said.
Saudi Arabia said it had brokered an exchange between Russia and Ukraine of 10 detainees, including five Britons.

Aiden Aslin, John Harding and Shaun Pinner, who were captured while fighting with Ukraine forces, were among those released.

The identities of two UK citizens freed remain unknown. The UK government has not confirmed details about any of the British nationals or the process that led to their release.

It came as part of one of the most significant prisoner swaps of the war so far, with 215 Ukrainian soldiers released - including commanders of the Azov regiment, which defended Mariupol - by Russia.

In exchange, Ukraine handed over 55 Russian soldiers, as well as the pro-Kremlin Ukrainian politician and oligarch, Victor Medvechuk, who was facing charges of treason.

Photos have emerged showing the three detainees arriving off a plane in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, appearing to be accompanied by a group of Saudi officials.

The images have been seen by family and friends of the Britons who had earlier feared that they would be killed.

As recently as Tuesday, rumours on social media began circulating that the death sentence they have been facing had been carried out.

In a video recorded from the plane on the way home to the UK, Mr Aslin said they were "now out of the danger zone and on our way home to our families".

Mr Pinner added they had escaped "by the skin of our teeth", while both men thanked people who had been supporting them while they were in captivity.

Mr Aslin, from Newark, Nottinghamshire, was held in April with Mr Pinner, from Bedfordshire, while fighting in the south-eastern city of Mariupol.

Both men and a Moroccan national, Brahim Saadoun, were put on trial in the self-declared Donetsk People's Republic and told they faced the death sentence. Mr Harding, from Sunderland, was one of several others who were awaiting trial.

The three Britons had all been living in Ukraine when Russia launched its invasion in February this year.

Mr Aslin's local MP, Robert Jenrick, told BBC News his family were "over the moon".

"They've been through months of torture, strain and stress as a result of this," the MP for Newark said, describing the trial as a "kangaroo court".

Mr Jenrick said that though he "can't divulge all of the details" of the negotiations, a "huge amount of effort" had gone into securing their release.

He said Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky personally supported the efforts and "we owe him a real debt of gratitude".

Mr Jenrick said he was also "grateful" to Saudi Arabia, adding: "It could easily have gone the other way or it could easily have taken many months if not years to resolve, as has been known in some of these cases in the past."

In a statement, Saudi Arabia said Moroccan, US, Swedish and Croatian nationals had also been freed as "part of an exchange of POWs between Russia and Ukraine".

Saudi Arabia said the detainees had been transferred from Russia to Saudi Arabia and it was organising their return to the respective countries.

The sudden announcement by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the prisoners' release came as a surprise to many, including their families.

It is believed to have been a personal initiative of the Saudi Crown Prince and de facto ruler Mohammed Bin Salman.

Until now, the Saudis have kept a low profile over the Ukraine conflict.

They may be a strategic ally of the US but they have a strained relationship with the Biden administration and they are reluctant to upset Russia.

When the Saudi Crown Prince attended the G20 summit in Buenos Aires four years ago he was shunned by western leaders who suspected him of authorising the murder of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which he denied.

However, one leader there greeted the Saudi Crown Prince effusively with a high five gesture. That leader was Vladimir Putin and the Saudi prince won't have forgotten that.

As he now seeks to shake off something of a pariah status in the West he appears to have leveraged his Russian connection to good effect and to western gratitude.

Ms Truss thanked Ukrainian president Zelensky "for his efforts to secure the release of detainees, and Saudi Arabia for their assistance".

She added: "Russia must end the ruthless exploitation of prisoners of war and civilian detainees for political ends."

Whoa now, Stray is a fantastic game

I didn't say it wasn't.

Spiderman No Way Home is a good movie.

But I can't argue with anyone who says Superhero movies are overdone and "Let's just throw every character at all the wall and hopefully sheep will watch it." doesn't demonstrate that.

I enjoyed it. To me it feels like "The last" of that era of Final Fantasy Games.

And that's not a knock on modern Final Fantasy games, they just changed with times for a new audience and that's totally cool. It's what a franchise should do. But 12 felt like the last one to have the same "vibe" as 6-10

It had a fun world to explore, I liked the side-quests, fun characters.

That said I admit I kinda lost the plot towards the end and stopped caring. I also didn't beat Yizmat because the fight was so fucking boring.

It also had one of my favorite gaming moments ever.

Game was new, had just come out, I knew nothing about it, didn't look things up online, was figuring out strats and stuff as I went. I was doing the Gilgamesh side quest. You fight him in a mine, he runs away deeper into the mine and you have to fight him a 2nd time.

What I didn't realize was that the 2nd fight is much harder and you're supposed to come back later once you leveled up. So I got to him (Mostly by fleeing past enemies way stronger than me) and was underleveled as fuck.

Gilgamesh kicked my ass BUT I had just enough time barely to ressurect my inactive party members before he could kill my active ones (This was literally the first time in game I realized you could do that), replenish my MP and if I was lucky get 1 attack in (Heavy reliance on Quickenings for DPS)

I must have hit him with so many fucking Quickenings.

But the entire thing was such a careful balancing act. He was just slicing through my party instantly like butter and I was barely barely able to keep myself alive, constantly on the verge of game over for about 20 minutes straight. A decade before Dr Strange, I was there to bargin. I nearly fucked up several times. It was tense as fuck, I was certain I was going to lose and was just being stubborn.

But no, I won. It felt great.

Some of the all time most fun I ever had in a video game.

Like did you learn it in college, or is there a book you can recommend?

I unfortunately never had a history class till high school, and it was World History, so even though Im a born and raised American, my knowledge is lacking on certain subjects.

A lot of schools suck sadly. Doubly so when it comes to parts of history that doesn't paint the country you live in at its best.

I'm in the UK right now and the sheer rewriting of history almost the entire population has undergone is terrifying.

I can't think of a specific book but there are tons of books, movies, documentaries, youtube series that can fill the layman's gaps in knowledge.

I'm really not an expert at all in anything, I'm just repeating shit the experts say.

Each episode they cover what happened that week in the respective war, they also have spotlight episodes about specific subjects/people and as expected it's such a complicated mess that you end up jumping down dozens of historical rabbit holes to find out more about what caused everything to be like that

And once you do that you end up watching weird videos about all sorts of odd historical periods.
