You can do chain migration but unless you are married or child or parent to the relative it's much longer and there is no limit.

There's three (four) other ways.

1. The celebrity Visa. Basically you are really famous and / or rich and you're bringing money and stuff.

2. Work Visa (H1B/H2B) you're a skilled STEM / Medicine person and an employer has a shortage of qualified applicants.

3. Political Asylum. You already mentioned.

The fourth way, there is actually a lottery for generic all purpose visas but your chances of getting one are about as bad winning the real lottery. There's a limited number per year and when they're gone you have to try again another year.

Visitor/Tourist Visas cannot become green cards but it puts you in a better position to get a long term Visa. Such as a student visa where you can probably get enough time to go through University and find someone that legitimately wants marry you unless you post all the time on current events but I don't think anyone would do that.

Heath Ledger Joker was a good villain not because you could agree with his motivations, but he picked at a deep fear that a lot of us have--the fear of upsetting the status quo. In horrific ways. Wait... really? Glad he has a different motivation, even though we all know it will end with the super heroes winning. The only thing I did enjoy about Infinity Wars is that Thanos is finally a MCU villain that actually poses a threat. The majority of the MCU villains either have been jokes or forgettable with the exception of Loki.

I mean if you know about Thanos you know he doesn't really pose a threat because he will always sabotage himself. His pride and arrogance is so extreme that he believes even he doesn't deserve to win even though he CAN win.

One of the reasons Nintendo broke everything off is because they belatedly found out about said clause and the execs got livid. And that's why they made sure to strictly limit their IP usage when they wrote out the new agreement with Phillips: Only those four infamous CD-i games.

There were more than 4. That deal also went wrong. They signed a contract with Phillips saying they'd license out their games for the system and then refused to actually license them (they likely could not pass internal curation at Nintendo). Phillips had to sue to be allowed to make those games so those games, while legally made, were done so without permission from Nintendo, but only because Nintendo was legally compelled to allow them to be made.

That was basically the last time they ever cooperated with any third party hardware company.
