1. Easiest and fastest way to come to America is to marry an American. I say this is the easiest and fastest but it's still not a walk in the park to get all this done. There's endless paperwork/applications to fill out, so much proof/evidence you have to present to USCIS, a doctor's approval for the foreigner to come to America and then there's the money that you have to pay for all those which are not cheap. We talking 4k to 10k.

2. Business visa. If you come to the country via a business visa then you can apply for a citizenship after 5 years I think. Sadly you can't do this with school visa or so I've heard.

3. Come in as a refugee. America is a great country, like many other countries who accepts refugees, that saves thousands upon thousands of people from third world countries who are war torn. I think just 2-4 years ago my city just accepted a ton of Karen people. They are given a permanent alien card and can become citizens after 5 years.

Don't think you can come with chain migration anymore. I heard you can become an American citizen if you pledge alligence to one of the US miltary branches? Comments? Thoughts? Opinions?

You need a green card in order to become a citizen via army. Takes 5 years of service accumulated in order to become a citizen. All your days in service only those days have to reach a total length of 5 years.

You can come in if you intend to start a business with at least $500,000 worth of capital.

Diversity visa lottery as well, if it's still around. Limited by your home country being eligible though

You can do chain migration but unless you are married or child or parent to the relative it's much longer and there is no limit.

Marrying someone just invokes chain migration laws.

There's three (four) other ways.

1. The celebrity Visa. Basically you are really famous and / or rich and you're bringing money and stuff.

2. Work Visa (H1B/H2B) you're a skilled STEM / Medicine person and an employer has a shortage of qualified applicants.

3. Political Asylum. You already mentioned.

The fourth way, there is actually a lottery for generic all purpose visas but your chances of getting one are about as bad winning the real lottery. There's a limited number per year and when they're gone you have to try again another year.

Visitor/Tourist Visas cannot become green cards but it puts you in a better position to get a long term Visa. Such as a student visa where you can probably get enough time to go through University and find someone that legitimately wants marry you unless you post all the time on current events but I don't think anyone would do that.

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."
