Not sure I'm following the logic on this one. Why would a single alternate universe mean there's any more, let alone an infinite number of them? And no matter how many there are, why would that make it okay to kill billions of people?

Yeah, sadly that was par for the course basically all show long. A season finale would set up some Big Deal Event Game Changer, and it would be resolved and back to status quo by the end of the next season premiere (or at most like 3 episodes in).

There are some absolute rough stretches. If you took out all the bad, boring episodes and pointless unentertaining filler it'd probably lose a good 4 seasons or so. Still a solid choice as a background-noise show worth paying attention to when it gets to the good parts.

I don't think people really pay attention to the PA music at places most of the time. It's background noise. There's a considerable difference between hearing a song and being in the general vicinity of a song playing.
