At this point Biden refusing to acknowledge what his base is saying is getting close to Trump ignoring everyone around him when he lost the election. You have millions of Democrat voters protesting the war, democratic congressmen calling for a ceasefire, and 400+ members of Biden's own cabinet telling him to do something and he's just going straight gung-ho pro-Israel no compromises anyway. Nobody is asking him to side with Hamas, people just want him to step in and stop letting innocent civilians die.

The people will not forget this shit next year if he doesn't yield.

The best outcome would be that this pushes a third party candidate over the line. The second best would be that it forces the Democrats to run a different candidate instead of Joe. Trump winning would be a disaster and make the situation (and many other situations) far worse, but that's the likely outcome if neither of the first two happen.

I don't see an issue there, if they wanna support both rather than solely using the standard. It's basically the software equivalent of if they were to respond to mandatory USB-C by including both USB-C and Lightning instead of just outright replacing Lightning.

Careful. This tweet does not explicitly say "Hamas isn't under the hospital". If you look closely at the text, it's stating that the evidence the IDF showed yesterday did not show an HQ or signs of tunnels, and that the IDF isn't scheduled to show more evidence of whatever they found at this time.

I don't think Hamas is under there, but we have to wait before calling this one.

If Israel had evidence, you know they'd be pushing it with all their strength. If such a base existed, IDF would have the intelligence capabilities to find it. While you're right that absence of evidence is not concrete evidence of absence, in this context it is *very* damning.

Well, I came out the other end still vaping (nicotine) and smoking the green, but in fairness, I didn't really try to kick those. Mostly avoided the latter while sick but never had any intent to stop afterwards. And I have kicked (but much later returned to) both of those in the past, several times for the latter. Caffiene was pretty much a constant from age 15-16 until last week (I'm 32 now) for me tho; so when I realized I was managing without it, I fully jumped on the opportunity to give it the boot.

Very plausible. Whenever I went without for more than a day or so I got real bad headaches and brain fog. Been mostly fine for a few days now tho, had a headache once but didn't feel like the caffiene withdrawal type, no brain fog.

It's not generally something I'll go out of my way to listen to, but I don't mind if it's what's playing when someone else is picking the music.

Could be they expect a higher standard of work. Could be they expect you to do other things when there's no dishes to wash. Could just be that they're good guys. Could be that they expect a higher pay might attract harder workers. Could be that they flat out didn't look into what others are paying. There's a lot of possibilities here, and scam - while not out of the question - is fairly far down the list when it comes to that kind of job listing.

If value for money is a consideration, yes. If not, then no, that'd be a gaming PC. Or if portability is a big factor for you, then a device like ROG Ally or Ayaneo (similar to the Deck but more powerful). Gaming laptop for those who want a compromise between portability and power.

And if portability + battery life are both very important, the Switch wins that one.

Five bucks says he specifically just means smoke, and plans to stick to edibles and similar going forward.

If they'd already been discussing it and wanted to have a kid, I really don't see the problem here. If he didn't want one and she's using this as an opportunity to get one from him anyway that's a bit different, and yeah, I guess it's a bit tricky for anyone besides the two people to know for sure. :/

Still, I kinda don't see much value in worrying about something like this, which is controversial at worst, compared to the far more worrying war crimes Israel is carrying out on a daily basis.

After about 16 years of consuming caffiene nearly every day, and thinking of it as the one thing I'd never be able to kick, I actually did it. Sure, I had some help in the form of getting so sick I couldn't consume anything besides water for a couple of days, but hey, if it works...
