Personally I always think about how Tokyo barely has any trash cans on the streets while there is also barely any street garbage.

That's cultural. People as a society saying "I will hold onto my trash and throw it out responsibly in order to maintain social order"
Their concept of social responsibility is MAGNITUDES stronger than any American sense of "social responsibility"

I wish we had that. That level of consideration to others in public, civic and social responsibility taken seriously by MOST of the populace

And I have to agree wholeheartedly. I also want Japanese conbini instead of the American style.

Conbini chicken whenever I want in the USA would be dangerous

But there are plenty of things wrong with Japanese society. Their long work hours, strict hierarchies, and slowness to adapt to technological changes. And that's not to mention the government's continued denial of their WW2 war crimes and hardline stances against immigration contributing to the aging population.

National Healthcare System (Britain's is fantastic)

Gun Control (they have the worst in the world)

The metric system (the US is one of only FOUR countries on the planet to still use Fahrenheit. The US Weather Bureau and Science community use Celsius)

Fahrenheit is better than Celsius for every day weather, if you want to argue for the Metric system temperature measurement is bottom tier.

If I were to import anything from the UK it would be their love of radio drama, a mostly lost art here in America.

Oh really?

Let me show you something:

If the crap Fahrenheit system is so much better like you claim then why has almost the entire planet gone metric and use Celsius? Tell me why does the US Weather Bureau use Celsius? Tell me why does the US Science community use Celsius?

Oh yeah thats right they know that the metric Celsius is more accurate than the ancient Fahrenheit measurements.

There's nothing inherently inaccurate about Fahrenheit. A measurement in either unit is as accurate as the device used to take it.

Everytime this comes up you resort to argumentum ad popular because deep down you know your system sucks and you can't admit that British culture is wrong about anything these days because you have a superiority complex bigger than every jingoistic American combined.

Celsius is a dumb system for every day weather. The range of Farenheit is better for weather or the human body. Celsius would be good if we were nothing but sentient drops of water but we're not.

This is one area of American Exceptionalism where we're right your wrong your system sucks and if you want to force it down our throats then you suck too.
