Im p decent at competitive smash, but every time i get a character to elite smash, the people online are moving and jumping with their characters SO GOD DAMN FAST. And i thought maybe it was cause im just using crap characters, but i saw a dude doing this with ike and palutena, and im like wtf advanced technique am i missing. I remember L-canceling in melee; is there something like that in this one?

Good game @TomNook7 I know I'm not very good but it's all in good fun. I've played so much of WoL and classic mode that I really haven't practiced much with my mains in this game haha. I never really thought any of the bosses were hard. Curious to hear what ones you thought were hard.

Its been a long time, but IIRC it was back to back gears fights with Miang and Ramsus. I remember being genuinely scared that I wasnt gonna be able to finish the game because I was either low level or my gears werent equipped right or something

It's like the 3rd game in the main story universe so it kind of assumes you know all the characters and world already

Neptunia is sort of weird in how its set up, basically there's a bunch of canon parallel universes (and people can hop between them). Re;Birth 1 is its own story and introduces all the characters because its basically intended to be the first game. Re;birth 2, Re;birth 3 (A remake of Neptunia Victory), and VII (V-2, as in Victory-2) are the current 'main plot' and all take place in the same universe.

Not really recommended to start with Re;Birth 2 though (even though you could) because its the weakest game in the series both character and gameplay wise.

Of course if none of that bothers you you totally can just jump in wherever, though.

In that its really the only good one at all (well I mean they're not bad gameplay wise on the whole, just really average like 6.5 or 7/10 games usually)

But its not really a series you play for the gameplay anyway but more for cute Neps doing cute things.
