Okay, I can understand Darkleer, but the Grand Highblood was a badass! More deserving of a song than Kanaya's ancestor, whose name I can't even remember!

I liked 7th Saga, but I can understand it as a choice for worst game. It had some really cool ideas, but not much else.

Least Favorite: Unlimited Saga

If you've ever played Unlimited Saga, you would know that there's actually no competition for that spot.

So, with five hits, at half damage each, you get slightly less damage than a critical hit. And you've burned five uses off of a Killing Edge, Brave Sword, or Vague Katti, just for less damage than a critical. I think I would take any skill in the game, even useless ones like Miracle, over Astra.

At least those don't actively hurt you to use them.

Astra is awful, though. It's nothing more than a good way to break your weapons.

Gatrie and Kieran might be good choices, Luna and Sol are some of the better Occult skills.

Turning off the porn is also a bad idea because you lose out on a good bit of story development by doing that.

Dragon Age 2 sucked, but not because of a voiced main character and a dialogue wheel. Those were positive directions for the series.

Thing is, the game was just horribly un-fun and Kirkwall was such a boring place to spend the entire game.

You know, I have mocked people for not reading chatlogs. I have happily read Rose's walls of text and her walkthroughs. I never had any difficulty reading troll dialogues, even if I think that some, like Sollux and Feferi, had poorly-conceived typing gimmicks. I enjoyed the hell out of the Mindfang journals. I even found UU's talks about game mechanics enlightening.

But I can't deal with Aranea. This is the most obnoxious-to-read thing in all of Homestuck.

She's had a full ten or so lines of dialogue. I don't think there's a single character in the story with whom I've been misled by their first ten lines. If I don't like a character by that point, I'm probably never going to.

She's a bit meh, but still better than UU. But I'm really not feeling the pre-scratch trolls so far. Only ones I like are Meenah and maybe uu.

...You know, when this movie came out, I could've sworn that there were people praising it.

Is there anything in this movie even worth praising? It basically seems like a worse version of Advent Children, which wasn't exactly a cinematic masterpiece.

I also liked how DS2 actually let you use all of the cool characters you met over the course of the game, instead of waiting for the last day and suddenly pouring them all over you. I did not like having to use Yuzu and her useless, 3-move ass all the way until Day 7.

Devil Survivor 2 was ridiculously easy compared to the first game. Most of the Septentriones go down pretty quick compared to the Bels, and six range is simple to deal with; giving one of them a free shot isn't the end of the world. There's no fight in DS2 that's nearly as full of bulls*** as the fight with Jezebel, for instance.

Also, the characters in DS2 are pretty much superior. There's a couple of lame characters like Keita and Ronaldo, sure, but then you have winners like Jungo and Joe that completely blow the first game's cast out of the water, especially since the Fate system lets you get to know them better.

The only thing I'd agree that the first game did better was the atmosphere; even though the world was in less danger in the first game, it felt more dangerous thanks to actually having to focus on survival rather than joining a super demon-fighting organization.

Dante Alighieri wrote The Divine Comedy. Dante is also the name of the fictional main character in The Divine Comedy.

He's a pretty blatant self-insert character, though, to the point where you could probably consider them the same person. I did when I thought of him.

My biggest complaint with it is simply how many characters they put up as DLC. Twelve of them? Really? That's a full 20% of the game's roster, on the disc, that you can't play as. Six characters might have been fine. But you can't argue that it's "a complete game" when there's that many characters missing.

For example, Soul Calibur V has an on-disc DLC character, Dampierre. But he's just one gimmicky character with no place in the plot. The game doesn't feel any less complete for not having him. I'm not even defending SCV's DLC policies here, the way they dealt with Dampierre was honestly pretty dumb, but at least it wasn't literally sealing away a full fifth of the game's content.

Damnit, they nerfed the damage on Algol's Level 2 CE.

I mean, I get it, I've never lost a round after landing it, and they did buff everything else, but it costs two meters, and it was hilarious!

Mimi Miney was a good villain in a mediocre case, but still isn't Top 10 material.

Also, Damon Gant was a great villain. Even if you think Case 1-5 dragged on far too long, you can't not love Gant

Yeah, but I'd never play as those characters, so why should I pay for them?

I shouldn't have to pay for them anyway, but it's an even bigger punch to the face having to buy all of them just for the two or three interesting ones.

I just wish they could be bought individually for $2 each. Having to buy crap characters like Blanka and Lars in order to play as Cody and Bryan just doesn't appeal to me.
