Everyone calling Fires of Undeath bad has never played Limited, clearly. Probably one of the best cards in the set in Limited.

Anyway, if you're talking about actual fetuses and goth chicks, 100% of all fetuses are gross while something like 40-50% of all goth chicks are gross. I'll take my chances with the goth chick.

However, if you're really just talking about the two Pokemon, I'd choose Munna because Gothitelle (or Gothita or whichever it was) is simply awful.

Smeargle, Dragonite, Kyogre, Espeon and Scizor are all in my actual top 10, and all the others are pretty good too (though I don't really like Moltres all that much, I prefer Ho-oh). Poor Dragonair and Haunter got eliminated very soon before the Top 10, however.

Never hearing from Maya again still works, actually, if you assume that it was Edgeworth sending the Steel Samurai DVD's instead.

And my problem with the "nobody gets to be happy" thing is less that nobody gets to be happy and more that the game is completely silly and still does that. If the game took a darker tone, it would work better, but making a game with a more whimsical and over-the top cast than ever before, and then still proceeding to crap on everyone's dreams, just doesn't really fly with me.

I once heard a fan theory that Apollo Justice takes place in an alternate timeline that branches from the bad ending of Justice For All. You know, the one where the miracle never happen. It would certainly help to explain a few things about Phoenix; his old friends weren't mentioned because they ditched him after that case, he's so jaded because of being responsible for Adrian Andrews' false arrest and (probably) her eventual death, and that case was also probably the reason that he decided to completely overhaul the justice system; a jury could've seen that Adrian Andrews was innocent. A bit bleak, and the alternate timeline thing might bring it a bit too far into Zelda timeline territory, but it's interesting.

This still doesn't at all explain any of the story's flaws that are not related to Phoenix, though. That aspect was probably more of a case of missed potential than anything. That's pretty much what Apollo Justice is in its entirety; missed potential. Apollo had potential as a fresh new protagonist, Klavier had the potential to be a cool prosecutor with personal connections to some of the villains, a lot of the gameplay systems they added seemed like they could've been interesting... but none of them lived up to what they could've been. And that is the game's greatest disappointment; it was so close to being a worthy successor to the Phoenix Wright trilogy, but they wasted it.

DD is and always has been the best Agent/Midnight Crew member. Don't forget about Droog using forensics to figure out where Trace would show up and filling him full of lead back in the Intermission. That was probably one of his first defining moments.

I just like him for being a calm and competent counterpart to Jack/Spades.

As an outsider to most of the genre, Blizzard All-Stars is a much better name than Blizzard Dota.

Makes it sound like Blizzard's version of Smash Bros, which seems much easier to market.

I disliked the Knife ending because it made it so obvious that Ace was the killer. The game even asks, "Who would benefit most from the #8 bracelet?" and it's pretty clear that having two numbers that add up to 9 gives a player a good bit of power.

The Safe Ending was the best one, the True Ending was a bit ridiculous. I did not dislike the twist per se, but I really did not like June. This applied during the entire game, but I was especially disappointed that, after finding out that she was Zero, we never actually saw her again. We never got to see what June would be like as a villain, and instead she just remained the obnoxious love interest in my mind.

Ooh, right. How could I forget the Mayor and his two-headed serpent slam?

And my stance on Beat: Favorite party member, personalitywise, by a mile. The problem is that his fighting style is much more complicated than that of the others, and you don't get much time to learn it before the game suddenly hits a difficulty spike. Meaning that he will generally be responsible for your losses in most major fights.

My favorite character was Kitaniji, personally. Cool design, sort of an evil counterpart to Neku, his motivations made a lot of sense, he has the best voice (TIME BE STILL), and the first phase of his boss fight was my favorite battle in the whole game.

Also, if I recall correctly, he's the only major character without an Another Day counterpart. Kinda sad. At least Higashizawa fills that role admirably there.

Anyway, SRW:J is one of the easier ones, has some very nice animations considering that it's on the GBA, and has Tekkaman Blade in it, so it seems like a good place to start.
