It is sad to contemplate, but I think there is oftentimes a connection between pain and artistry. Of course, no one knows what was going on inside Kryst's head or what demons she was battling, but the indefatigable drive to be the best can end up overwhelming a person.

You don't have to apologize for mourning someone's death, especially in a case as tragic as Cheslie Kryst. On a side note, I understand what you mean about having a connection with someone you hardly knew. I went to high school with Nate Allen, who ended up becoming a safety for the Philadelphia Eagles. We weren't friends, per se, but we interacted quite a few times and even had a computer class together. Class act, and I'm glad his football career took him so far.

Anything he had to do to preserve the union was justified even in hindsight.

I suppose a cogent argument along those lines is that the Constitution outlines rights for the United States of America, and since there were people during the Civil War who were threatening the stability of that nation, suspending habeas corpus was justified. The tricky legal aspect here is that they were still citizens of the United States, albeit potential revolutionaries, and thus constitutional rights were still applicable.

^Knoxville would absolutely go on the record as saying SteveO's the craziest, if he hasn't done so already.

And, y'know, we've seen the shit they've done. SteveO has plain' ol cheated death the most times, at least on camera.

Another counterpoint: in Jackass Forever, as Knoxville gets ready for the bull stunt, Steve-O says that even in his darkest days when life was the least valuable, he still would've never stepped inside the bull ring.

Here's how this works: each clue is technically three different questions, which can all be linked together. The following example should illustrate it rather well:

This "Father Figure" singer took "Billie Jean" to see some drip paintings...
Answer: "Who is George Michael Jackson Pollock?" (George Michael sang "Father Figure," Michael Jackson sang "Billie Jean" and Jackson Pollock was known for his "drip" paintings; all their names can be linked.)

Try to figure out the rest of these! The first two are relatively easy, the last three will be a bit tougher.
If you guys end up liking these, I'll make some more...

#1: Queen Victoria's husband and a physicist known for his theories of relativity discover they are siblings and decide to open a food chain dedicated to a certain ring-shaped baked good.

#2: A jet airplane breaks the sound barrier while playing a Black Eyed Peas song for Pocahantas' father.

#3: George A. Romero's ghouls from a 1968 horror film interrupt Wild Bill Hickok's fatal poker game in order to watch Diego Maradona's legendary goal from the 1986 World Cup quarterfinals.

#4: The most famous line from Seamus Heaney's poem "The Gravel Walks" inspires Skynet to send a T-1000 back through time, only to be interrupted by the Mexican Da de los Muertos festival.

#5: Popular song by Herman's Hermits about a king who decides to try his hand at acting in the play based on Goodbye to Berlin, which will be viewed through a tiny hole in a chamber's wall that inverts the image onto the opposite side.

Warning: This list includes scenes from Jackass Forever. Here be spoilers!
Also, this is my own personal list, which should be obvious.

#10: "The Toro Totter" (Jackass Number Two)
Of all the bull-related stunts the Jackass crew has endured, this is the most entertaining. The combination of an innocent childhood playground ride (the teeter-totter) with the fear and paranoia of a raging bull flailing about, is a perfect recipe for hilarious chaos. Knoxville refusing to leave is just icing on the cake.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwPJMQwo2xw

#9: "The Rent-a-Car Crash-up Derby" (Jackass: The Movie)
The very first scene from the very first Jackass movie, this one is great not so much because of the stunt itself, but rather Knoxville's interaction with the car rental employees. After returning his absolutely destroyed rented vehicle (complete with a spray-painted "3" in honor of Dale Earnhardt), Knoxville has the gall to say he "hit a dog" and was drinking and driving. The dialogue is just great.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lciHCXQFkNk

#8: "The Dum Dum Game" (Jackass Forever)
Such a simple idea that came to fruition rather well. The set-up is simple: Poopies (one of the newer members), Danger Ehren and Wee Man are positioned in front of a lever that will slam forward and smash their groins if they answer fourth-grade-level trivia questions incorrectly. In a strangely charming way, this segment celebrates knowledge--a pleasant surprise from a group called "Jackass."

Preview Clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c0t1fFzMzc

#7: "Electric Avenue" (Jackass 3D)
The sound of dozens of cattle prods and tasers buzzing while swaying midair is terrifying, prompting even the extreme Steve-O to lament "I'm gonna fuckin' pass out." Watching the group make their way through the torturous chamber is hilarious, and Chris Pontius' goofy grin all the while makes it even better.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnh75XCu49c

#6: "Riot Control Test" (Jackass Number Two)
Among the many reasons Knoxville is regarded as "the Captain," this one has to rank pretty damn high. The initial test explosion prompts Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn to immediately nix the idea, and Dave England legitimately pulled out of the stunt because he couldn't get around the mental block. Knoxville finally convinces Dunn and Margera to go through with it, and this weapon that defends embassies couldn't even take Knoxville off his feet!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb1kLqoiDuA

#5: "Jet Engine" (Jackass 3D)
This is one of those stunts that makes you think, "Hm, you know I never really thought about what it would feel like to be standing in the draft of a jet airplane's engine, but now I know and I'm glad I got to see it." Dunn's "no ground gained" jump into the airstream is absolutely hilarious, and it almost makes the viewer want to partake. Almost.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEFx1qmW4ts

#4: "Silence of the Lambs" (Jackass Forever)
A multi-layered prank involving both old and new cast members, this one starts off with a pseudo-segment involving a venomous snake going "south" when the door slams shut and the lights go out, terrifying the Jackass guys two at a time. When they finally find the "escape door," they inevitably bump head-first into pots and pans suspended from the ceiling, along with thumbtacks and mousetraps on a nearby counter.

[Clip not yet available]

#3: "The Butt X-Ray" (Jackass: The Movie)
Ryan Dunn deserved all the credit in the world for going through with this stunt, one that even Steve-O declined. The shock factor alone obviously stands for itself, but it's the doctors' appalled and confused expressions that make this skit an all-time great. The old doctor straight-faced telling Dunn "maybe you shoved it up your ass," just gold.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaHENCqbwQw

#2: "The Vomitron" (Jackass Forever)
This finale segment from the latest Jackass movie is an automatic classic, IMO. Six guys, each wearing a color of the rainbow and milk dyed to match, told to all sit on a carousel, drink as much milk as possible and try not to puke as they're being spun out of control. That alone is a great Jackass idea on paper, but the unexpected military attack afterward with paintballs, explosions, and Wee Man driving a wee tank, turns this segment into a great chaotic celebration to end the quadrilogy.

[Clip not yet available]

#1: "Terror Taxi" (Jackass Number Two)
Of course, what else could be #1? This is the most intricate and multi-layered of all the Jackass stunts. Danger Ehren is under the impression that he'll be pranking a taxi driver into thinking he's going to bomb an airplane or airport. Ehren is unaware that the driver is in on it, leading to Ehren thinking his life is in serious jeopardy. Then he finds out that the fake beard he was given for the skit was actually made of everyone's pubic hair. The roller coaster of emotions: excitement, fear, relief, anger, it's basically Jackass in a nutshell and gives Ehren McGhehey the much well-deserved spotlight after years of being playfully mocked.
