It definitely has a very noble feeling, and it's one of those "meditative" songs I can put on for a while and just zone in on my task at hand, but it's not a theme that necessarily makes me go "holy shit that's fucking awesome."

True. I'm baffled by some of her contestants though. Like, they hit the DD and only wager $200 or $1,000. Really? Dude, go all in. You're up against an all time great. Go big or you're certainly being sent home.

Not really, she tends to bounce around a bit, though -- which itself is a time-tested strategy. She's also a bit more conservative with her Daily Doubles, characteristically wagering $4,000 so as to hedge against any possible wrong responses.

I hadn't really thought about it, but apparently once Ken Jennings agreed to host Jeopardy and to become a consulting producer on the show, he had to waive ever being a contestant on the show again, due to conflict of interest. So it's pretty badass that he retires as the official GOAT.

Also, with Amy Schneider having recently tied Matt Amodio's record of 38 games (and counting) that means those two and Holzhauer are the only three 30+ game millionaires eligible to play.

I smell a special event at some point. "The Second Greatest of All Time" perhaps?
