It's simple science

For the past two years, I've been working for my favorite professor at my college helping people with writing assignments. It's a really fun, fulfilling job.

But it's going to suck when I leave it over the summer and start working at Disney. My boss now is so chill, I've never been declined a day off to the point where if I need one I just say "hey, can't work this day". There's even been a whole week where I had a family emergency and couldn't work any of my scheduled hours and he was just like "okay, no problem!".

Don't think a lot of that will fly with Disney!

Just fun. Life doesn't seem quite as scary. It sucked being such a nihilist, now I feel like I have a support system.

Sucks that people will question your beliefs when you mention it. Like they can't possibly believe that someone who hasn't shown interest in religion suddenly finds interest in it again.

In March 2020, the vibe was kind of "maybe we shouldn't do it this year" and so nobody did it.

Then not many people came back to it in 2021.

Now barely anyone came back to it in 2022.

Kind of sad.

Since 2 is introducing Tails and Knuckles, 3 will almost certainly introduce Amy and Shadow.

Could they make that work? I feel like people would be more excited to see Shadow than Metal Sonic.

I'm honestly starting to get second thoughts. It's kind of a bit intimidating to be so far from friends and family...

Yeah, it's been a dream of mine forever. I applied a few times in the past, but think I got denied because I applied way too late (like just a week or two before applications ended).

Got lucky this time and got accepted. But I was worried I wouldn't since I didn't apply until a month after the applications opened up lol.

idk if you're talking about like, subvariants, but I'm pretty sure Delta was the deadliest, but the variants after Alpha were a lot less lethal than it until Delta. Then Omicron just kind of threw everything out the window and is only really "deadly" because of the sheer amount of people who got it compared to other variants.

this is incredibly unlikely. If the strain is deadlier, it is unlikely to be as contagious. If there is a new strain, it will likely be an evolved form of omicron that is less deadly, but more spreadable. At that point it's probably just going to be on the same level as a seasonal flu.

lol there is no way this is true. Most guys I know are about 6'1.

I'd also add that just a few years ago, I would have said a guy stops being short at 5'7, but the attitudes I have seen from people who are 5'7 and 5'8 just exude Napoleon complexes.

There are three kinds of short guys.

Guys who are under 5'9 and stress way too much about how short they are.

Guys who are 5'9 and 5'10 who constantly stress over if they are short.

Guys who are 5'11 who whenever they are asked how tall they are, they say "5'11 and 3/4ths".

Anyways, I think a guy stops being short at 5'9.
