Its one of those places where they make the areas people visit seem very very nice and enjoyable. However, step outside of those places and it can be pretty damn bad.

you can say this about literally anywhere though. Orlando, Florida is one of the most visited places in the country. Outside of Orlando, most places around the state are pieces of shit.

It was "announced" at E3 2018, but I remember people talking about it as far back as early 2017. Then it wasn't even formally shown of until 2021, and isn't getting any gameplay until this weekend (maybe?).

Did you know that the game is pre-programmed to last until 2027? I think all of the words are already chosen for it too and can be discovered just by going into the script of the webpage.

I really want to play a game where you're just constantly upgrading yourself and finding better weapons/armor that make you more and more powerful. Kind of like some of the Castlevania games, or loot games like Assassin's Creed Origins/Odyssey or Diablo.

Sure, it calms the nerves, but I would take it to help me fall asleep and it did anything but that. There was a time where I took a xanax at midnight and put on some Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance to wind down for the night.

I beat the entire game that night. I barely moved from my couch. I was hyperfocused on the game, which I was using to "wind down"! It doesn't help you sleep, it's just a downer version of adderall.

Also I looked up "Echoshield" on Reddit and was getting mostly people who were saying it was sketchy. Then I saw three comments from people who said it wasn't sketchy, laid out their "plan" pretty clearly, and made it seem kind of legitimate, if not a bit too good. The three people commenting were replying to each other and kind of sounded...off?

So I clicked on their names and all three of the accounts were created on the day they made those comments and those were the only comments they ever made, lol.

I always hear people say shit like they know people who work for them off of commission and make $100k+ a year?

That seems...impossible? Or at least highly unlikely.

It's pretty fun. I like how they made the combat system more character-actiony than other Tales games.

Preface: it was still an incredible wedding.

So last summer, my cousin got married to the daughter of some foreign diplomat. Drinks were flowing, every single table had their own bar with wines, rums, vodkas, champagnes, it was AWESOME. They brought every table their own platter of food.

I'm not that close to this side of the family, so I felt a bit awkward. Wasn't going out on the dance floor, but then I got liquored up and immediately felt like I was the life of the party. I was a machine.

My uncle (cousin's dad) had been hyping this wedding up to me for weeks. He said that it was some super crazy traditional wedding where it goes until 4AM and they bring out crazy foods all night long.

Except at midnight the entire bride's family just gets out and 30 minutes later the party is over! Total bullshit! I was ready to party all night!

Like, you gotta think about how wide of a swath the term "mental illness" is. At what point do you say "oh yeah, you're mentally ill, you can't have a gun"? Who gets to decide this? People think being LGBT+ is a mental illness. People think any sort of "social degeneracy" is a mental illness.

Some statistics say that 25% of the United States population has a mental illness. Are we just going to say "haha, fuck you person with some minor mental illness, you can't defend yourself!"?

I think you forgot a dozen more of his alts. Honestly, I'm still not 100% convinced he's gone.

Krogan was another one of his alts, but that one was so shortlived and so similar to his OG, not worth mentioning.

He was a really funny, charming, generous man. Probably the funniest dude on this board after Storrac, Goldenrodradio, and RebeccDOS.

If I ever met him in person, I'd buy him a beer.

The only person that can save you is yourself. The police have shown at this most recent school shooting, as well as the Parkland shooting in 2018, that they are a bunch of cowards who are not only disinterested in saving your children from being shot at by maniacs, but will willingly allow these people to walk in to schools and murder your children while they stop anyone from trying to take action.

The Uvalde police department has flat out admitted to lying about engaging with the shooter prior to his entry and admitted to lying about him having body armor. They were just cowards.

Our media the past few decades has absolutely desensitized us to violence. It has gotten to the point where people are now becoming desensitized over these shootings since they're happening on practically a weekly basis.

Notice: more violence in media, less sexual content. And guess what? Our society has been desensitized to violence, but sensitized to sexual content.

I'm not saying video games are the direct, root cause of these shootings, but they're certainly not doing any good.
