Yeah, I know that in the past they have been used for better worker conditions, but nowadays people who overwork their staff or treat them poorly just don't recognize them. Any other union is just arguing over getting paid another dollar an hour every few years. If you're part of a union then you're not likely to go anywhere else in the company or promoted. You just have to hope that in a few years the union will get you an extra buck or else you'll have to strike.

the best man's speech at the wedding I went to this past weekend was over 7 minutes long and it honestly kinda slogged. I want mine to be concise, just barely under 4 mins is what I am hoping for. Between 3:30 to 4 is the goal.

I'm going to start practicing and timing mine.

Just beat Devil May Cry 1. Very fun game.

Now debating on whether I try out DMC2 or go straight to DMC3.

The weird alternate universe game is weird, but the combat is actually pretty good. Just has a very different flow to it.

I hear 5 is also better than 1 and some say it is better than 3

Currently on Mission 12 of DMC1.

It's pretty fun. A bit janky, but that's okay since it's a 20 year old game. Not sure if I should play DMC2 or skip it.

Was going to cancel one, but offered it to a friend. He accepted. I told him to pay me back by October 20th.

The guy throws a bitch fit at a get together about how I never do anything for anyone (because I wouldn't give him a sip of my beer.)

October 20th comes.

He doesn't pay me.

I wait a few more days, giving him the benefit of the doubt.

On the 25th, I cancel the order.

On the 26th I get a message from another friend saying that he had started bitching about me "fucking him over" on the 21st and talking behind my back.

I have rarely been invited to any get togethers since. The one I went to a few weeks ago that he was also at, he completely avoided me.

Literally nobody will listen to my side of the story.

But yeah, post season 6 became less consistent. There were gems for sure but overall less funny.

The only good episode from post season 6 was The Late Philip J. Fry. That was the only one that even came close to being as good as the original series. Every other episode that people like from the CC era (namely the Hermes/Bender episode and the Fry's Mom episode) were just trying too hard to be the next Luck of the Fryish/Jurassic Bark.
