It's more of a contemporary story. I should have said bounty hunters instead of cowboys.

I have never seen The Hateful Eight, but I'm writing this short story for class and people who I have shown it to have said it sounds like The Hateful Eight.

One of the most wanted gangs in the country is cornered during a bank robbery. Their leader, who has the highest bounty on their head in the country, gets away but is subdued by two cowboys: one who lassos them and the other who tranquilizes them with a sleeping dart. They argue over who gets to take them in and secure the bounty, while the ranchhand of the farm that the criminal was caught in also joins the argument and says that they deserve the bounty because they were caught on their land. While this is all going on, a lawman is trying to find them so that the police department doesn't have to pay out the bounty.

I'm so excited! My favorite time of the year!

The only bad part is that I am taking summer courses so I will miss Square Enix and Ubisoft's pressers :(

Define "doesn't work".

Whenever I play a game it crashes to a black screen and forces me to turn of the PSU from the back.

It used to crash to a blue screen and restart, now it just crashes completely.

I've replaced the PSU and GPU.

I've redownloaded drivers.

I've reinstalled Windows.

Nothing is working.

Should I replace the MOBO next?

They kind of made it seem like it wasn't the case at the end of Season 3 though!

If a chemical weapon assault took place in a small town in Syria, nobody would be able to enter it for a week. There were reporters at "ground zero" of the supposed attack in less than 12 hours.

Honestly thought it would be Saudi Arabia, where most of the major terrorists have come out of. Or Pakistan, who willingly hid those Saudi Arabian terrorists under military protection.

But for some reason why don't seem to want to fight those two countries, only the ones that haven't done anything wrong.

What doesn't work? Have you tried rolling back your graphics driver? Windows events that list a problem with your graphics are usually a driver problem. I recently had to roll my Nvidia driver back because the new one caused my machine to crash after about 20 minutes of playing games.

Three different new drivers have come out since it started crashing and it still crashes on all of three.

I guess I just have a $1000 paperweight now because it still doesn't work.

How was the computer telling you it was coming from the GPU? What program did you use to identify it?

Event Viewer. Told me it was a problem with the GPU hardware.

It's just been working very poorly recently. I bought it in September and since late February has crashed every time I have tried to game. It said it was the graphics card so I got that RMA'd and it came back and the system still doesn't work.

Now I've just completely reset it to make sure it wasn't an issue with Windows itself.

It was very funny! Love the McElroy boys :)!

was your moderation overturned? you didn't mention it in your post. And this site is tough on spoilers imo and maybe illegal activities a lot too. Maybe users being mean to each other would be low on the totem pole though.

I was in the Comics and Graphic Novel board giving my theory on how (Infinity War spoilers, according to GameFAQs mods) Captain Marvel would be introduced in the MCU and what she has been up to since the 90s. I made no mention of her one single reference in Infinity War and just gave my general thoughts on what might happen in her movie. Just a theory. and was warned for like four days because of it. I appealed and said that there were no spoilers in my post and there wasn't even a mention of Infinity War or the events of the film in it at all! But they still claimed that I was spoiling the movie just because I mentioned one character who doesn't even appear in the film other than their army's insignia on a nokia. I brought this up and never heard back because they know I'm in the right!

By the way: The GameFAQs mod who handled my ticket claimed that Captain Marvel was a guy lmao. Read a book!

Just FYI some early posters my notice that I put "he" or "his" in some places on accident before the edit. This was because I originally wanted to keep it ambiguous what role I played in it, but figured there was no point in that so I changed it. Just forgot to change some of the pronouns to I's and My's!

6PM: One hour before Infinity War starts. I was in line since 4PM.

I drape my jacket over my seat so that I can fill up my drink. Obviously marking my place in the theater.

I'm gone for five minutes, come back and I can't seem to find my seat. Looks under the chairs and my jacket has been thrown under the seat. But there is now a group of three with one of the three of them in my chair. There are three perfectly fine seats at the end of the row for them to sit down in the now nearly packed theater.

Me: Hey, that's my jacket under the seat. I had it draped over the chair. This is my chair
Guy: Oh, well. Uhh...
Me: So...this is my seat. Get up, please.
Group: Hey (to the guys next to us) can you move down one so he can have his seat back?
Other Group for some reason refuses to move over one seat
Group: Guess there's nothing you can do except find a different seat.
Me: Uhh, no. I draped my jacket over the seat. I marked it. It's mine.
Guy: Well just because you leave a jacket on a seat doesn't mean it's yours
Me: Well if I had left anything else like my popcorn or my drink would it be mine?
Guy: uh uh uh
Me: Exactly, there's three perfectly good seats at the end of the aisle.
Group: Well I don't understand what all of the fuss is about! It's just one seat! You move down to the end!
Me: It makes no sense for me to mark a place in this theater with my property for you to take it and make me move down to the end where there are three spots when you have three guys
Guy in front of me: Hey buddy, you're pushing up against my seat and it's really bothering me.
Me: Sorry, let me just solve this issue real quick. Get up. I've been here since 4PM and this is the seat where I left my personal belongings.
Group: WELL WE'VE BEEN HERE SINCE 5!!!
Me: *guffaws* Exactly, four trumps five. Get. Up.
Guy: Dude the jacket wasn't here when I sat down!
Me: Well how do I know if you didn't just pick it up and push it under the seat?
Guy: *smiles* You don't.
Me: Exactly. Move. Down. To. The. End.

Girl in the row behind (who I was in line next to and made small talk with while we waited): You're wasting your time. I've been in line with him (me) for two hours. He was there first. Move.

At that point, they knew the odds were against them and they got all huffy and moved. I turned around and thanked the girl and leaned to the guy in front of me and apologized, explaining the situation. He got all apologetic and said that if he knew about the situation he wouldn't have complained. There was a group holding six seats next to me and when their parent came back she was told of the situation by her kids and apologized to me, saying that she had to get drinks for her kids and that if she was there she would have told them to move as well.

Was I being petty? It was a perfect middle spot and my shit was on it! I even tucked the sleeves into my cupholder so that it couldn't have fallen off! These dudes clearly just picked it up and thought they could get away with it! I'd also like to point out that I'm a cripple with little muscle mass (had a stroke when I was a baby and it made it hard for muscle to develop on a lot of my body) and an easy target for being pushed around. These guys were probably 3-4 years older than me and a lot bigger.

Hot damn, what a great movie!

Seems to be working fine. They gave me an MSI Aero 1070 instead of my old one which was a EVGA 1070, which I thought was weird. It's all good though as long as it runs my games as well.

Just hop on a plane and go to Florida for a few days. I only have school twice a week so it would work out fine. Only issue is that I'm not 25 so I wouldn't be able to rent a car.

I've had a good few days since the concert but today is Easter so I think that gives me some leeway to go a bit over my limits.

Then it's right back on track! Any progress you lose can be obtained again in a few short days!

A lot of the time we learn to hate ourselves as a technique to survive traumatic childhood (fawn), and it's hard to stop that mindset even when the trauma goes away. Changes... Good luck on the path.
