I wish I could be excited for that but Starmer and his team have made it clear they have no intention of governing from the left. He has spent the past couple of years adopting much of the nationalistic right's rhetoric (specifically with immigration), purging the party of leftists, and walking back all of his prior commitments to those who voted him leader.
