God, I had some perpetually single female coworkers like this. I think Orangutans, more than any other ape, seem to have the ability to trigger the uncanny valley sense in a person. Like they have just enough human-esque behaviors and manorisms to weird you out when you see them come from a human-shaped, but clearly non-human body. I think so.
