Fortnite's pricing is fucking insane, especially because you can basically earn nothing in game. I get that it's FTP, and it's only cosmetics. But $10 - $15 for a single costume, or weapon skin is fucking nuts.

Blame streamers/twitch for enabling that.

What weapon are you using? Its a pretty rough fight for melee, even with the thunder mantle. I had no problems soloing him with Bow but my group is walling out a bit since its such a rough battle of attrition.

This is going to sound really lame, but I'd recommend that if you're really struggling then farcaster out when the mantle goes down, and if you die just AFK in camp until your food resets. You've got plenty of time to fight him so focus on getting through his phases rather than trying to burn him down fast.

Maybe look at crafting a 3 piece Bazel set to guard against one shots and watch for Insurance as the daily skill to squeeze in an extra life.

His Broken Phantasms let him punch way above his weight class but he isn't the strongest. He can definitely win his Grail War by just sitting on a building and sniping the weaker servants / masters with BPs though.

EMIYA is an unstoppable beast. he could kill Berserker as many times as it takes due to Emiyas ability to create any noble phantasm

While he can project a ton of NPs he can't exceed Rank B(?) with them unless he uses them as a Broken Phantasm. That means his only way to break through Berserker's God Hand is with a BP, and even then he likely doesn't have the reserves to take all of the lives. But thats assuming you actually adhere to servant skills strictly. Nasu certainly doesn't so who cares.

emiya can summon weapons gilgamesh-style outside his reality marble as well

shirou created excaliber in stay night though didnt he? a weakened version but thats cause shirou is weak. emiya is strong

He can summon swords as warp projectiles like Gilgamesh, but outside of UBW they lose a lot of potency. The only time he can match Gilgamesh's speed and power is within UBW because of how the marble works. Gil should still win when he isn't being a massive tool and sandbagging but then he wouldn't be Gilgamesh.

Shirou projects a weakened version of Caliburn in the Berserker fight in Fate. The main reason that worked was because Saber was literally right there with him though.

As far as I know, the only time he attempts to project Excalibur proper is in Heaven's Feel and it immediately results in a bad end.

Two hours is about the most I can get at once. After that its just a lot of turning back and forth with my eyes closed pretending to sleep basically. Being in bed more than a couple hours leaves me extremely groggy all day anyways.

Just read a write up on it and it sounds like it'll be (more) similar to FFXI / Abyssea than Diadem was so that might be cool.

What weapon will you guys focus on first? I'm torn between the three Gunner types. Generally, I like more tactical, sniper gameplay over bullet spam, but if seems like there are weapons that do both in each type. I like trapping and sniping, taking a few powerful, well-placed hits over spray and pray, and I'm not sure what gun is going to best exemplify that in the new one.

You probably want to look at the HBGs that have Wyvernsnipe like the Bone line.

They don't let you use it for purchases bigger than ~$30, and there is usually a limit to how many transactions you can complete before it requires you to pin in again.

If someone did steal your card they aren't getting very far with those limitations, and you're not liable for any fraudulent charges that occur through tap anyways.

The Vita might be a better option if you're looking for JRPGs. Its not getting many new ones at this point, but it has a very solid backlog, as well as a ton of PSX/PSP games available on the store. Just be aware that physical stores don't really carry Vita stuff these days so the bulk of your games will probably be digital purchases.

For residential use it shouldnt really matter unless youre getting insane speeds from your ISP.

The problem is that typical wireless environments are not as good as wired ones. Obviously the 15 foot ethernet connection that is run exclusively to your PC/console is going to be better than your 2.4 band when it has a dozen devices connected to it and has to go through two floors and a half dozen walls of interference.

I can tell you that in Canada we have a way to escalate these issues above the ground level of the ISP if they fail to adequately resolve them. Telling them youre going to get the CCTS involved usually makes them fix their shit pretty fast.

I dunno if there is an similar agency in the US/your state though.

Have a really tough time with inverted left/right. I've got a few old ps2 games that are stuck that way and it's a bother.

Some third person games I like that way but other it just doesn't work for me at all.

I guess its the difference between imaging the camera as an actual independent object in the game (it needs to rotate to the left of the character in order to view the right) and imagining that you're just turning your character.

I dont think the businesses are going to pass their losses onto the consumers. They'll just hire less people, and over work their small staff.

I also worry about the effect this will have on people making lets say $16 an hour now. A suupervisor/manager at a small store in a mall right now might be making that kind of money, and soon they'll only be a buck over min wage. They'll def need an increase as well, or what will stop them from quitting and going to work a min wage job with less responsibility?

I really do think this was very rash.

I work in fast food and we are not reducing man-hours (or employees) to compensate for the wage increases. Supervisors, Managers, special positions etc. are also retaining their bonus rates. We are however scrapping our attendance and shift pick-up incentives.

BKS does more damage because it only has to get through one type of defense check (physical). The other one has to go through three damage checks (phys, lightning, and magic) so its going to generally do less damage.

Disney has a long history of predatory practices themselves. They really don't care that EA put them in Star Wars; they care that the media/customers have started talking about it (negatively) and how much its blown up.

We are going way beyond salty reddit reviewers calling for "boycotts" of a product now. If that ruling in Belgium ends up spreading throughout the EU they (EA/Disney and then everyone else pushing gatchas) might end up in serious trouble.
