I think she likes you. Even I had a girl kinda flirt with me when I was there on a trip. And I am hopeless with women usually. Foreigners in Japan apparently always attract a certain portion of the female population. Similar to like American women swooning over a British or French man I guess

At least it spurred me to change my MS account password to something more recent and secure.

Randomly a message came up saying I'll be locked out of the account since the password was changed. Then my account disappeared on my phone.

How relevant is anime and manga there? Do you see a lot of people with tattoos? How is the crime rate? What about littering?

The only people I see with tattoos are foreigners. Most Japanese cover theirs.

No crime or littering in my experience, streets are clean asf in both Tokyo and Osaka.

Well I'm living in Japan now yes. Except I was still with my ex girlfriend 4 years ago so no in that regards.

How many non Japanese people do you see a day? How do the Japanese people treat you? Is the work life balance really as bad as depicted? Are the subway trains packed?

I'm at training atm so quite a few but that'll change when I start work. Work starts next month. Subway are packed at certain times but other than that, manageable.

They've been nothing but respectful towards me.

Might wait before I make a general. Still need to settle into an apartment then gonna gather material.

First few days after moving here and I've seen Kotone Furukawa, Rei Seimiya and Fuka Koshiba in the media.

of course, people would sometimes slam their opponents in the past, but now we have that plus MMA stuff. and people also seem more brutal, maybe because they know they're being recorded and the fight can become viral.

Man that's really exciting. I didn't read most of the other topic, are you moving permanently? Also do you speak any Japanese?

Contract for 1 year and can be extended. For that first year I'm hoping to learn more Japanese (at conversational level right now) then get another job in data/programming.

Want to stay there permanently if all goes well.

From 5k people to over 270k people as of now following the curator because the employee that also had a spicy take on Toriyama decided to open his maw and try to get the curator creator banned off steam. This literally would have been some random obscure list lost among all the steam curators if that dope didn't make a huge thing about it.

Yeah I personally started looking into it more when he dissed Toriyama. Some of his friends also started taking digs at Toriyama. I'm pretty sure when he did that, he attracted the attention of people outside the gaming sphere, further escalating the issue.
