Missing some top-o'-the-line characters, but I've got the vast majority of the roster. Even got 13 5-star weapons.

I normally will re-try if I'm close to the next primo level, especially this time since I haven't gotten 36 before. I spent a couple hours last cycle trying. Guess luck was on my side this week.

Personally, Freminet is helped by his lack of presence, as I still have pretty strong anti-Fatui bias, so it bugs me how friendly we are with them in the prison, and it felt like we were supposed to feel bad that the spies got caught spying. At least we were suspicious of the Harbinger.

Finished the Archon Quest. Ranking of new characters just based on that:
Navia > Neuvillette > Wriothesley > Arlecchino > Clorinde > Furina > Freminet > Lyney > Lynette

I really wanted to like Furina more, and I'd have had the kids higher (especially Lyney) before the prison. Mona was a nice suprise. Fuck Childe, though.

I thought the Next Life as a Villainess was really good through the episode when Katarina visits the Maria, then it was good for the next couple of filler episodes, and was awful for the final arc of season 1 and didn't bother with season 2.

I suppose the comedy is supposed to come from the disconnect between how Hime perceives her facade as effective and how it actually fails most of the time. Also (personally) howafter Hime and Mitsuki reconcile, due to the difference in their heights, Hime's face is always in Mitsuki's boobs when Mitsuki gets flustered and hugs her. That said, it is 100% a drama, and the next arc is worse all around. Just cut your losses and don't worry about it. Just watch Kase-san. It's much more chill, but I don't think being a single episode OVA benefits it's slice of life nature.

Blue Drop doesn't appear to be streaming anywhere, but I'll keep an eye out for it if that ever changes.

Could have sworn I watched it on Funimation, but MAL says it's licensed by Sentai Filmworks, but it's not on HiDive. Weird and unfortunate

Otherside Picnic is definitely not one of Lidenfilms better shows. Production quality aside, I enjoyed it, but there isn't any explicit yuri in the season.

The obvious yuri recc is Bloom into You, but I'm not sure if you'll find the characters interesting or frustrating. Scrolling (way) down MAL's list of GL, you could give Blue Drop a try.

Probably about as much as MMORPGs have obscure sidequests with busted character upgrades as rewards to the first person to complete them.

Point taken, but at least these "otome games" are single-player games, and I think having a loathsome rival character that eats shit in the end could make the game more fun.
