Watched Orphan: First Kill. Absolutely insane movie. They totally Don't Breathe 2 Esther and it somehow works. It's quite unintentionally hilarious in a good way.

Ooooh this is one of the hardest days of the whole contest so far in my opinion.

No problem, I just think it's a cool lyrical change personally and as a follower of both genres it's cool seeing that generational update.

Black Flag is one of the most famous hardcore punk bands of all time. The juxtaposition still works perfectly and fits into the punk scene rather than the rock scene Don Henley was referencing - it still shows that anti-materialism clashing with someone "selling out". There's nothing outdated about either band and it was a smart update to what the Ataris' audience would more likely understand.

Yeah, the Drag-U-La was a sort of coffin drag racer featured in The Munsters! Though ironically it's not as recognizable as The Munster Koach, which is seen in the video for Rob Zombie's Dragula & used for his appearance in Twisted Metal 4.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. I mean, you got Jill in one of her most stand-out appearances in the whole series, facing off against her greatest "Nemesis". It's really simple, but that dynamic and the fact that there are branching paths generates such an amazing flow to a storyline mostly told through gameplay. You can feel the emotional tension in Jill getting infected, just because of how much time you spend battling or running from Nemesis throughout the game up until that point.

Most of the UBCS main members are decent enough, Mikhail gets a really memorable scene, and Carlos is mostly just there, however Nicholai is a damn enjoyable villain. In the original trilogy at least, he even feels twice as ruthless as Wesker and having a money-focused villain rather than being someone chasing after a virus or wanting to end the world is a good change of pace too.

Man, though, besides that, just being in Raccoon City as it's collapsing is such a treat. I like that there are ambient civilians just out of sight getting chomped on by zombies or UBCS soldiers succumbing to their deaths in battle with BOWS. It truly feels like the city is falling apart around you and it's a unique approach not really seen elsewhere in the series besides the Outbreak games and RE6. Then you have all the city background and history told to you in files which is fun to read through.

Easily one of my favorite RE storylines, Jill gets some truly amazing quotes and moments to shine here, and of course Nemesis is a stalker horror villain to end them all. It's what a near perfect RE storyline looks like to me.
