Pam was trying to have her cake and eat it too, and Jim was a douche for going after someone's fiance in such an immature and indirect way. But that's also part of what I like about the show, neither Pam or Jim are perfect to a point where it brings some grounded realism to the show. Look how he just dumped the other girl (blanking on her name) for Pam. She was good to him, wasn't some over the top controlling crazy girlfriend like they could've made her. Which sometimes that's what happens in life. Not every break up is some toxic relationship or some one sided crazy person. Sometimes everyone involved is a good person, and sometimes you have to make choices like that. Black and White good and bad is boring. --- |

While at the same time you've made no actual points for why it bad or a problem or worth hating. Like I said, it takes them like 5 minutes and costs nothing to add that to the game, something some people might get some fun out of and be able to do some cool things with. New modes require a team, a development cycle, testing, and money. It's not like they're making some cutting room floor decision of "we either give them a new game mode, or add some rewards like god mode and such" and they're all choosing the latter. They do it because it costs practically nothing and adds an extra layer to the game for those who want it or can find some fun out of it. Then you're making it an entirely different topic and suggesting DLC, lol what? Do you think games giving basic rewards like god mode, infinite ammo, new skins, etc. Is coming at the cost of removing other note substantial content? This is as absurd as those people I've seen argue that trophies/achievements are bad. It's something that's not taking any any actual notable game development or features, it's not something anyone is making you do, it's just something that's there for the people who care or get something out of it and it costs virtually nothing and takes no time to implement. I don't think you understand how have development works or you're just trolling and I don't know which. --- |

Studies have actually shown kids who are spanked are more likely to act out, develop behavioral issues, mental health issues such as depression, higher rates of domestic abusers, as well as more likely to continue the cycle by spanking their own kid. Talk to the overwhelming majority of experts in psychology, child psychology, and child development and they'll almost all unanimously agree that spanking is an unhealthy and less effective form of parenting. Hitting your kids is lazy parenting that doesn't solve any root issue or actually teach anything. Like it's easier than ever to punish a kid worse without laying a finger on them. Find a kid and ask if they'd rather get a spanking or have no internet access, electronics like phones and games, etc. for a weekend. Then combine that with actually discussing things with your kid, actually teaching then what they did, why it was wrong, instead of some archaic "you did thing *hit* don't do thing again" which leads to no growth or even remorse, just feeling bad they got caught or got spanked. The issue isn't that parents are lazily just hitting their kids, the issue is they've gotten even lazier and don't do anything period. --- |
