Nice. I might delete the MLB game (since I play it way too much lmao) and try the NBA one for a change of pace. Don't really have "a team" anymore, though historically it's been the T'wolves and wherever Garnett was playing, so Celtics, etc.

Youll get badges to add to your player. Point guard could have a playmaker badge making him better at certain passes, Center could have a rebounding badge making him better at certain types of rebounds.

Kinda sounds like The Show in some aspects. Like, when my pitcher gets a handle on a fastball so well he can throw it with pinpoint accuracy at 98+ MPH, you get the "Cheesy" perk. Or, if you have a wipeout slider, you get the "Knee Buckler" perk. I always liked this kinda stuff. The downside was The Show lets you level stats via RNG availability so you end up save scumming if you really want to max something out.

Man, I haven't played The Show in a few years. I think I'll pick it up tonight. I always thought their Road to the Show was the most streamlined and effective of the major sports games Career modes, or at least it's the one I got the most out of.

RTTS has a lot of variety, since sometimes you can just focus on pitching and others, batting. I dunno how well that would work in NBA since everyone has to have some shooting prowess. The Show '19 was given out free last year, so you should try it out if y'got it.

Is the NBA create-a-character mode kinda like they do it in The Show? Like, a log-in bonus each day (item, player, etc.), you train your individual stats based on performance, get drafted, etc.? Overarching challenges to complete and get points to buy "packs" or something? Honestly, the more The Show-ish it is, the more I'd want to try. I just know 2K games are MTX-fueled, so my expectations are cooled appropriately.

Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea often celebrates the Tanabata Festival featuring a greeting parade with Minnie as Orihime and Mickey as Hikoboshi.

But there's some trick to it, I don't remember exactly but it's something like if you swap him out of your party you have to go all the way back to that one town to get him swapped back in so it's usually not worth it

Haven't played in forever, so I forget some of the stuff. His name can get changed slightly in the transfer, too.

Arc the Lad 2 is fun, though it's quite long. ATL3 is a bit easier, but I dunno if that's even a PS1 Classic. ATL1 is a bit boring, but kinda sets the stage for the series.

I was also thinking of stuff like the Milva card and Zoltan's card quest, not necessarily the Novigrad tourney.

A few things to mention so you're not blindsided:

• Gwent is a card game you can play to pass the time and many NPCs play it. Some quests involve playing it, too. While some can be obtained later through other methods, some are found nowhere else, so if you want everything, y'gotta get good. (Innkeepers sell cards, IIRC, and you can win a random card for a faction from generic players. Hero cards are usually quest rewards.)
• The first region is tiny and the second one is huge. It's like comparing a goomba to Godzilla's older brother who contracted gigantism. It can be overwhelming for new players when they find out the size disparity, and you'll go crazy if you try to do everything immediately. (Many quests are available "technically" but probably end in Geralt dying horribly when he's one-shotted by something 40 levels higher.)
• Some people prefer to change Geralt's movement in the options. I've never used it, but it may make him less "stumbly" or something, so you should try it out early.
• The game has a lot of what I call "recipe chests" -- containers around the world, sometimes underwater, that give you a free, random recipe for alchemy, bombs, and so on. There are a lot of 'em and, since they also give other stuff, like equipment, it's good to seek 'em out. (I have a map of the ones in White Orchard if you want 'em.)
• Doing New Game+ is only doable by using a base (non-NG+) save. This means, if you want to NG+, you can't build off that one to do another. On console, save slots are actually limited, so don't accidentally forget this and overwrite something important.
• Blacksmithing fees are friggin' robbery and you should rarely use those services. I went through most of the game with broken, blunt weapons, upgrading every now and again, and selling off the dregs. If you want your gear sharp for particular battles, though, buy blacksmiths' repair kits when you can, as those give comparable repair and don't cost an arm and a leg.
• Oh, and inventory management is important. Put stuff you want for later in your shared stash (witcher equipment and unique items, generally) and sell off the useless stuff, junk items, and so on. Bloated inventories lead to lag -- at least on consoles -- so it's good to keep that in mind.

Is Grandia good?

It's pretty pleasant, and has a fun battle system (later improved in Grandia 2), but does feel overlong. I like to joke that by the end of the game, you've gone through so many forests, you're an honorary park ranger.

I'm trying to remember if I did everything in that mission on one run or not. I kinda like missions that make you resupply halfway through because you spent all your ammo in hectic combat. Think was one like that early in AC4, a giant dogfight over some island.

Is that the mission where there's a bunch of struts and offshore platforms and you can fly in between 'em to blow up cores? That was a frustrating mission on many levels, but destroying all that stuff with perfect flying was so satisfying. I wish more levels had that same level of annoyance/vindication in it. Never tried lasers, though.
